Please take the time to sign Teenmag.com's petition to keep Young Americans. It worked for Roswell and Felicity, it can work for Young Americans too!
The WB will be making their decision on whether to keep Young Americans or not, in mid-September. If the show is renewed filming should begin in November and Young Americans should return on air sometime in January or February in its regular time slot. To ensure this happens, please write to the WB and let them know what a great show they have, and how much you'd like to see more of it.
Send a flag along with your letters to the WB. And be sure to write "Keep Young Americans" on the front of the envelope in red, white, and blue. We want to grab the WB's attention.

In my experience no other fans are more loyal than soap opera fans. So I urge you to write to Soap Opera Digest which specializes in soaps but also does little bit of Dawson's Creek and Felicity.

Other magazines to focus on are teen magazines. Young Americans is a teen show, therefore, start writing to teen magazines encouraging them to feature YA. That way, YA will be more publicized and other teens who don't watch the show (yet), will know what they're missing out on. Especially target YM and Seventeen. YM featured fabulous photos of the YA cast (remember to thank them for that), and Seventeen is a very popular magazine, it's even Jake's fav!

Visit Rosie O'Donnell's website and then on the bottom bar click on Contact Rosie. Then click on E-mail Rosie. Then send her an e-mail telling her what a great show Young Americans is and how much you'd like to see her interview a YA cast member. It'll give the show more publicity and hopefully get other viewers to see what they're missing out on.
Here's a list of teen message boards. Post messages on these boards and let the vistors know what a great show Young Americans is and to tune in Wednesdays on the WB at 9PM ET/PT.
