Right now it is important to remember how special we are to the Lord. The Israelites were so special that the Lord told them, "I have engraved you on the palms of my hands" (Isaiah 49:16 NIV). As further proof, Christ came and engraved His palms, too. His selfless act was for all of us. When times get tough and we question God's love for us, we need only look to Christ's sacrifice.

I challenge you to keep your focus on Him, for you to allow Him to love you, to bless you, to give you peace.

I leave you with my favorite verse: "The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail" (Isaiah 58:11 NIV).
