How to Become a Christian
Its easy and simple: The only thing you need to do is make a prayer of salvation!
There are some simple things you need to understand and acknowledge to say your prayer.
1. That the God of Creation, The God of Moses, and of Irsael, The Great I AM is the one and only true God.
Genesis 1:1 Exodus 3:14 (WOW!) Exodus 20:3
Deuteronomy 5:7
2. That you have sinned (fell short of God's Glory) and cannot earn a place in heaven no matter how hard
you try.
Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Ephesians
2:8-9
3. That Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was sent into the world as a human being, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for your sins, and rose from the dead to give you eternal life.
Romans 5:8-9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-14, Act 20:28,
Ephesians 1:13-14
4. Say a prayer accepting these truths and inviting Jesus into your heart and life as your Lord. Here is an example:
"Father God, I know that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Christ died in my place to pay the penalty for my sin and that He rose from the dead. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my life as my Savior. Thank you for making me your child. Help me learn to please you in every part of my life."
That is it! Congratulations! Glory to God! If you just prayed that as you read it for the first time then "There is rejoicing in Heaven!"

Advice Now that you are a Christian
The single best piece of advice I can give you is to spend at least 15 minutes
at the beginning of each day in quiet prayer and reading God's word. Start everyday with God.
This is the best way to live as a believer and grow as a Christian. I know there are huge obstacles in the way of this for most of us but that's what makes it so important. Put him ahead of all of them.
Other Good Advise:
1. Join a Church. Make sure the church uses the bible as the foundation for all its doctrine and that you are saved "By God's Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ." You can make new friends to grow with and encourage you and learn valuable lessons from God's word through the insight of his teachers.
2. Get a Bible. Contact any of your local churches and they will give
you one for free or look in your phone book under Gideon. Or use the Online
Bible.
We will be glad to talk to you and answer any questions you have. Look under Care
Group Leaders for the phone numbers of those that would be glad to
talk to you.
