Live album recorded live at "Parco", Shibuya, Tokyo between 16th and 18th of September 1980. Performance on this album is closer to the performance in the studio recording albums of the same period i.e. OASIS, SILK ROAD VOLUME 1, SILK ROAD VOLUME 2. Usually KITARO-san's performace in his live show is (much) evolved from the original versions which was recorded in the studio, but the evolution which can be heard on this live album is obviously too smaller than usual. (But it NEVER can be said that "KITARO-san performed like this on that night". Because the performance always can be edited for the live album after recording the show.) Only one exception is the last tune "DANCE OF SAND". You can hear this song evoled and became more dynamic and longer than the original version on SILK ROAD VOLUME 2 album. (But still LESS impressive than the same song's other live versions on live album BUDOKAN (two years later) and on live video OSAKA-JO LIVE (three years later) both of which are so super!!). "PROLOGUE", "WESTBOUND", "PEACE", "FOUR CHANGES" can be heard only on this album.

This is NOT the very first KITARO album for those who is new to KITARO Music. But if you like the soundtracks for the TV program "Silk Road" i.e. SILK ROAD VOLUME 1 and SILK ROAD VOLUME 2, you may like this album, too.

"PROLOGUE" on this album and on ANCIENT albums and "PROLOGUE (ANGEL QUEEN - LONG VERSION)" on QUEEN MILLENNIA album are all different songs. This album and SILK ROAD VOLUME 1 album contain the song entitled "WESTBOUND", but they are different songs. This album and SILK ROAD VOLUME 2 album contain the song entitled "PEACE", but they are different songs. And on some editions, "AQUA" has the another title: "ETERNAL SPRING", but this is a different song from "ETERNAL SPRING" on SILK ROAD VOLUME 2 album.
