Live album recorded in Atlanta, US, on 25th of April, during KITARO-san's world tour 1990 just after the release of KOJIKI album. So exciting performance by KITARO-san and magnificent seven musicians can be heard on this album. Containing dynamic and emotional symphonic rock which can be heard in KITARO-san's usual live show, this is "KITARO live!!".
Highlight of this album is the entire performance of the latest album at that time: KOJIKI. Performance on this album is more emotional and more dynamic than the original version on KOJIKI album (In fact, this entire performance of KOJIKI was performed in the beginning of the show for nearly one hour, in the same song order as KOJIKI album). String orchestra part in the original version on KOJIKI album is performed by keyboards, but the whole ensemble never lack the richness and thickness (with a little help from technologies, probably). So don't worry.
But, apart from double LP version, only "OROCHI" (from KOJIKI album) is not included on normal CD version of this album. Obviously this never makes this album's impression better. This makes this album's "KITARO-san's typical flow represented through an album" weak, and those who like KOJIKI album are going to wonder "WHY??".
So if you want to listen to KITARO-san's live album, other live albums which contain KITARO-san's typical performance are recommended (for example, AN ENCHANTED EVENING and ASIA). If you want to listen to the live performance of KOJIKI album, pick up the live video KOJIKI: A STORY IN CONCERT (or sometimes called LIVE IN AMERICA) on which you can enjoy whole KOJIKI songs including "OROCHI", while double LP version of LIVE IN AMERICA album seems hard to find. But remember that live video KOJIKI: A STORY IN CONCERT does not contain "SILK ROAD", "CARAVANSARY", "COSMIC LOVE", and "THE LIGHT OF THE SPIRIT"
