Christmas holiday season album from KITARO-san. This album contains famous christmas songs from all around the world. For KITARO-san is the musician who usually performs the song written by himself, this album can be said as the rarest album in KITARO-san's whole discography. But even though that's the fact, this is a very KITARO-san-like album. This album has so many aspects (for example, arrangment and the "colour" of the instruments) of KITARO sound of this period.

Basically all songs are instrumental (no vocal singing lyrics) as always, but just a few line of vocals (singing lyrics) can be heard on "ANGELS WE HAVE HEARD ON HIGH" and "LITTLE DRUMMER BOY". Electric guitar solo on final section of "O HOLY NIGHT" is so simple and so beautiful at the same time. The last tune "THE GREAT SPIRIT" is the only song written by KITARO-san, and boy's narration surrounded by spiritual solemn sound can be heard. (Some of you would notice that what this boy's narration recites (poem??) was already written in the booklet of MANDALA album's original release.

This is NOT the very first KITARO album for those who is new to KITARO Music. But since this album has typical KITARO sound, those who look for a christmas album and pick up this album can become KITARO Music fan.
