Original soundtrack for the movie "THE SOONG SISTERS" directed by Mabel Cheung (Cheung Yuen-Ting). As same as another soundtrack album HEAVEN & EARTH, music on this album is obviously different from the one of KITARO-san's typical albums. There are some impressive and strong melodies. But the sound of most tunes are different KITARO-san's typical sound, probably because many parts on this album are performed by orchestra instead of KITARO-san himself. Also this album does not seem to have "KITARO-san's typical flow represented through an album". As a result, as same as HEAVEN & EARTH album, this album is having the impression of "soundtrack" more than of "KITARO-san's album".

On the credit, the artist of this album is KITARO-san and Randy Miller. Randy Miller is KITARO-san's orchestrator since HEAVEN & EARTH album, and has works with KITARO-san when KITARO-san use orchestra. But this credit does NOT mean that this album has Randy Miller's more influence than HEAVEN & EARTH album whose artist on the credit is KITARO-san only!! Some chinese traditional instruments are featured, and they are well-mixed in KITARO Music.

This is NOT the very first KITARO album for those who is new to KITARO Music, rather this album is for "die-hard" KITARO Music fan. But remember that the beauty of this movie's main theme "MAIN TITLE" and "ECHOING WALL/END TITLE", which is also performed in the movie by three starring actresses themselves (!!), is the same level as the main theme of HEAVEN & EARTH.
