Good album with freezy thrilling atmosphere. Comparing to the albums which was released in last ten years before this album, the most impressive character of this album is the arrangement of each songs becoming obviously simpler. As a result, the songs which have approachable melodies (like "ESTRELLA", "MERCURY", "FIESTA", "THINKING OF YOU", "SPACE II") became to have more pop feeling. At the same time, comparing to the albums which was released in last ten years before this album, wide range of dynamism and rock feeling is a bit lost. (So it might make sense that KITARO-san played most of all the instruments, just like he did in his early days until TENKU album.)

In fact, on the booklet of this album's DOMO RECORDS edition (which can be said as "original edition"), this album is introduced with using the words "new KITARO music" and "new style". It seems that this album's musical direction, which is obviously different from the one of some previous albums, is the "new" KITARO Music. So as a turning point, this is an important album.

Title track "THINKING OF YOU" is a romantic valentine song which KITARO-san wrote on 14th of February 1999. Even though there is a song called "SPACE II", but don't try to find "SPACE I" because it is NOT previously released!!

Even though this is a Grammy winning album, but never misunderstand that this album is the best in KITARO-san's whole discography!! (In Grammy, there is always some competitors, so cannot win even though it is the best in one's discography!!) In fact, KITARO-san has been creating many good albums which are as good as this album or are better than this album. Also, remember that the difference between KITARO Music in studio recording album and KITARO Music in his usual live show became larger, since KITARO Music's musical direction changed to the one called "new KITARO music" or "new style". Quick guide is... musical direction which is called "new KITARO music" or "new style" has quieter performance in general. So if attending KITARO-san's live show with thinking that this is the mainstream of KITARO Music, you are going to be so surprised to KITARO-san's roaring and rocking loud performance (smile!!). If saying like KITARO-san, the album became more little "baby".
