Introduction:
Divintation is the most difficult branch of magic. You must have the inner eye to be able to succeed at all. Many witches and Wizards are capable of disappearings, bangs, smells and charms. But only few have the gift. It can be a burden and it can be helpful.Though I warn you to be cautious.

Chapter 1: Tea Leaves
To read tea leaves you of course need a teacup for starters. Fill your cup with tea and then drink. Drink until only the dregs remain. Swill these around three times with the left hand, if you use your right hand it wont work properly. Then tip your cup over and wait for the last of the tea to drain away. (This project is much more convenient if you have a partner to assist you.) Then turn your cup back over and read the leaves. To interpert your leaves I suggest using Tea Reading for beginners. When you are reading your cup broaden your minds and let it be a bit imaginative. Not to much of course. Tea leaves are the simplest kind of divination, if you have many problems with this, I suggest not spending to much time on it and let you mind rest for a while then try again.

Chapter 2: Palmistry
Palmistry is a rather fun branch of Divination. You can perform it anywhere where there is a hand. Where as tea leaves you need the cup an leaves. Now on the human hand there are four basic lines.
There is the life line, the falcon head line, the future line. And the death line.
Now hold your hand out. Put all your fingers together. Press your side thumb against the rest of your finders. This should be a normal hand position. Now look at the very center of your thumb. It should be right in the middle of the other two lines. Now follow the middle of your thumb to your hand in a straight line. In about one milimeter you should reach the top of your life line. (If you follow it all the way down it looks like its stitching your thumb to the rest of your hand.) Now see how long your life line goes down. If it ends quickly, so will your life, it is long, your life will be also. Sometimes smaller lines that vary from individuals will run into this life line. That means a break in your life. Something such as a death, divorce, car accident, something that will cause dispair. You can see around what age you will be when it happens also.
There is also the Falcon Head line. The tip of it nearly connects with the top of your Life Line. If you have one of these lines, you will outlive 1 of your relatives at least. Also if it is short, that shows you have little patience. If it is long it shows much patience.
Now the future line is at the very top of your hand. It swoops from the side over to your middle finger. By looking at this line you will see if you will be easily lead astray by things or not. If it is smooth and has no tiny tiny lines going from it, then you will not easily be lead astray. If it does, you will be lead astray.
Then there is the death line, It is at the base of your hand. If it is short, death will come quick and unpainful, if long, death will be long and drawn out. This is the most misread line of them all, and if you want an almost exact telling of your death see a proffesional. Though I don't suggest it.

Chapter 3: Fire Omens
For this you will need a fire, a teacup, dried dregs from a teacup that has been read, 20 drops of water, 15 grains of sand and one needle from a pine tree ( shredded then crushed into a fine powder do the same with the dried dregs)
Once you have these all together. Mix them all together in a teacup except the water and dregs. Mix the water and dried dregs together put in glass and hold in your right hand. Now that they are will mixed, dump them on your left hand, careful not to spill any. Then blow them off your hand and into the fire. The fire should turn purple and make a crackling sound. Then take the tiniest sip of the water and dregs. After doing so wet the finger tips of your right hand and flick the water on the fire. Carefully and closely watch the center of the flame. Images should appear ( if not you drank to much of the water and dregs, simply repeat process from the begining, and wash out both glass and cup.) The images will not need to be interpurted, they will look like every day images, such as a smiling face or a blizzard. They mean exactly what they show.

Chapter 4: Crystal Balls
For Crystal Gazing you must have the inner eye. If not the ball will show nothing but white fog. If you have the inner eye, it will be very simple indeed, if not there is nothing to do but try to expand your mind. It is best to have the rest of the room you are in dark. That way you wont be distracted. I would suggest insense or candles. But no plain out light. Sit in the most comfortable possion for you. Then with the ball infront of you, close your eyes for a moment. Breathe deaply inhaling the insense. Do not think of anything. Just focus on your breathing. Once you are totally at peace. Open your eyes sit up straight, and gaze into the ball, keep your mind clear don't even focus on the ball to much. Just keep your mind clear. Keep breathing steady. Open your mind to anything. Let it drift while you look into the ball. Soon images will appear in the ball. They might even move. Do not go out of your trance like faze. Stay the same, breathing deeply mind broad and relaxed. Remeber what you see. Once the images fade, slowly come back to the world. Now remeber what you saw and it will show the out come or just the future of things.
