First, make sure brush is free from any excess makeup or goo. With free hand,
pull lid taut at outer corner. From the inner corner out, draw a line along
upper lash line (liquid liner looks heavy on lower lash lines). Make it as thin
as possible; you can always trace over for a bolder look.

If you prefer a smoky effect to the more graphic look of strongly lined eyes,
wait for liner to dry and use a small flat brush to blend eye shadow and liner.
Add extra shadow to the outer corners for a more dramatic look.

If you want to extend liner past outer corners of the lids for a sexier look,
dip the flat edge of a sponge wedge into translucent powder, then place that
edge at the outer corner of each eye. This forms a line on the skin. Trace
liquid liner along the top edge of the powder line to keep it from running. Wipe
excess powder away with the sponge.
