20th day in the month of Hiding, Year 3
Dear Diary:
Boy, you wouldn't imagine the changes a day could bring. Yesterday it was 22 degrees C... today it is only 5 degrees C! And they say it might snow. My, my... it's not even fall yet. I told JumbyMeerky earlier that if it did indeed snow, she would blend in perfectly.
Yes, JumbyMeerky is officially a White Meerca now. And she's very cute. But she wasn't too cute when we got into a fight over the Usuki Doll. Jackie resolved it by buying JumbyMeerky her own Usuki Doll; the Magical Hair one. Now we can play together. We almost got a Dream Pool today, but it ended up Jackie was selling it in her store. We were kind of sad; it was suppose to be the coolest accessory! To make up for it, though, she filled the bathtub with water so we could play with it. I would imagine it would've been just as fun as the Dream Pool. Except the bathtub had more room.
I got a new book today too: Acara Facts. Jackie got JumbyMeerky a book called Arts and Crafts with Lupes. She also got each of us a treat. I got my favorite cookie, the Acara one with half creame. Yum. JumbyMeerky got a Golden Juppie which is her favorite. We munched on them we read.
Today I played Deckswabbers for the first time. I don't like the game too much but I seem to be pretty good at it. I earned us two Dubloons today, one which went towards JumbyMeerky's training at the new school. I was signed up for a class at the Mystery Island Training School, but we have yet to buy an Orn Codestone. They are extremely hard to find for a cheap price. We are trying the auction but the odds don't look good for us. Oh well. Maybe once we get a bit more money, hm?
Yesterday, Jackie entered me in the Pet Spotlight contest. We are praying that today I will be in the Spotlight. I doubt it though for my story seems horribly plain compared to the others who have won. But Jackie tells me I should have faith. I shall tell you in tomorrow's entry if I had won. But for now, I must go.

29th day in the month of Hiding, Year 3
Dear Diary:
Today seemed to have the perfect weather. Warm with a breeze. It felt really nice, especially since the temperature was only 22 degrees C. Today started out as a normal day. We played Kiko Match and Meerca Chase (we didn't come close to winning the plushie) and then we picked up Meekers from the hospital. Then, Jackie sat down with me and said, "How would you feel if you had a sister?"
I was shocked, of course. Being an only pet, I was used to having the attention all on me. With another pet, who knows what would happen. Probably Jackie would have to spend more money to get her the same things I had. Maybe I'd even have to share! And yet, it could also be a good thing. I wouldn't be lonely when Jackie wasn't around and I could teach her new things. I'd be like the "big sister". So after thinking it over, I told Jackie that it would be great. So we headed over to the hatchery, where we filled out a form.
We decided to get a Blue, Female Meerca (Jackie said if she wanted, the Meerca could change it's color). The woman brought up this cute Meerca, which seemed kind of a menace. It didn't seem "pleasant" to me, like I had been. But Jackie had a fondness for this little Meerca and we brought her home; her name is JumbyMeerky.
She seemed a bit quiet at first, until I got her talking. We seemed to like some of the same things; being the older sister, she seemed to want to always know my opinion and she seemed to... well, admire me. When we got home, she seemed astonished at all my toys and my pet, Meekers. Jackie had to go out for a while and she told me to share my toys, for we would go shopping for JumbyMeerky later. I gladly shared with her; she seemed to like my Green Fuzzle a lot. The only thing I didn't let her play with is Carey; he's too special to me.
JumbyMeerky seemed to like Carey way too much and she took him from me. We got into a fight, resulting in Carey's ear breaking off. At that moment, I hated her and I yelled and cried and told her how much I didn't want her to be here. I guess she felt bad because she didn't talk to me until Jackie got home. Jackie sewed back on the ear, and everything was fine. While she was out, she even got JumbyMeerky a Blue Meerca Plushie that JumbyMeerky called "Mini-Meerky" so she wouldn't touch my toy. Jackie told us that we would share the toys between us, since it wouldn't be practical to buy two of the same toys, since we both liked the same things. I decided that I would give her my Green Fuzzle to keep for herself, since she liked it so much, if I was able to keep the Purple Skateboard for myself. We agreed.
Jackie took both of us shopping (JumbyMeerky calls her Chibizelda) for a pet for JumbyMeerky. JumbyMeerky seemed to like all the pets, but she didn't exactly find one she liked. She ended up getting a Ghostkerchief from the Haunted Woods which she named Spooky. Then, an Earth Faerie came to us and asked us for a Steam Jug! It was JumbyMeerky and I's first quest and we were both excited. We looked around in the auction to find one.
Then we had to decide a color for Meerky. She said she either wanted to be a white or faerie one. We won the auction for a white one, so she will be a White Meerca. Tomorrow, we shall paint her and I will post pictures of her in the Me section.
I suppose having a little sister is a bit troublesome but I enjoy her anyway. She's cute and very cool. I hope we become really good friends.

28th day in the month of Hiding, Year 3
Dear Diary:
Today was a very nice day for me. Despite that it was very very sunny and muggy, with a temperature of 30 degress C, I managed to stay cool. Jackie and I played a few games of Meerca Chase and Kiko Match, which are our favorites. We even attempted to try the Medium and Hard versions of Meerca Chase, and fell on our backs laughing as Jackie struggled to control the fast moving Meerca. We were able to upgrade our bank account to Platinum Extra, with a grand total of 23,000 deposited (we used 2,000 to buy books after the change). Our current pocket money is 865 NP, since some of the items in our shop we sold. We usually buy items for high prices and sell them for cheaper prices, which affects how much money we earn. Lucky for us, we seem to be doing pretty good.
Jackie didn't spend all day with me though, for there wasn't much to do. I played with Mermaid Usuki for a while, and dressed her up in the new (and expensive) Usuki Fun Summer Set that Jackie bought me. I decided to go visit Faerie Land, my first time attempting it alone. Jackie thought that since I was a month old already, I should be able to have more responsibilties. I'm allowed to go out to other worlds if I get back before sunset. I brought along my Red Acara Toy for security reasons (I named him Carey). For some reason, I felt safer.
Meekers became sick today. He was moaning and meowing. I felt sorry for him. I took him to the Hospital. He had a stomach virus. The doctor suggested he stay the night; Jackie and I are going to pick him up in the morning. The Doctor said he was going to give us some special Grumble Be Gone Tablets for pet-pets. He said Meekers should recover soon.
Well, besides Meekers illness, today was a very pleasant day, as I have already said. Tomorrow, Jackie and I are attempting to go over 600 points in Meerca Chase so we can earn the Magical Meerca Plushie which I absolutely adore. Good night, diary!
