My Name is Sam Gray and I am 21 years of age. I have recently completed schooling at the University of Ballarat, where I studied Information Technology. I took on the role of Supervisor of the Youth@bility Newsweb because it clearly seemed to be an opportunity to have fun, challenge myself, and meet new people as well. I am 18 years of age. My interests are collecting key rings which I have over 300 of. I joined Youth@bility because I enjoy helping other people, and I am good at computers and love working with groups of people. My superhero is God because he has helped me live my life to the best of my ability and has shown me what to follow and what to leave behind. I am 26 years of age. I studied Multimedia at SMB- Ballarat, went onto work as a freelance web designer, technician and trainer. I am interested in computers, science fiction, skateboarding and hanging with my wife and son. I joined with Youth@bility Newsweb after reading about it in the paper. It seemed like an interesting and challenging project. Thought my skills would be useful. My favourite drink is water. Favourite food is fairy floss. My superhero is Oggy. Rachael Lynch
I am almost 24 years of age. My interests include singing, reading, writing, driving and listening to music. I joined Youth@bility because I would like a career in the writing industry as a journalist/reporter. Also because I believe that my role as being a reporter for Youth@bility will lead me into the opportunity. Before starting in the job I was studying I was studying the Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing) at University of Ballarat SMB campus, but put it on hold until next year. I am 16 years of age. I finished school this year. I am interested in computers and animals. I joined this group because it sounded interesting and I like meeting people. My favourite food is pizza. My superhero is my mum because she gave birth to me and brought me up. Matthew Vernon
I am 23 years of age. I joined Youth@bility because the job suited to what I could do. My interests are ten pin bowling, playing pool, computers and electrical repairs, playing my violin and repairing my house. I would also like to take the time to thank Highlands Personnel for giving me a chance to work with a group not just on my own. My superheroes are my parents because they have helped me through life. I am 24 years of age. I completed my education at Ballarat Secondary College. I have been in the entertainment industry as a nightclub DJ since I was 17. I am interested in music mainly. I joined the Youth@bility mainly as I see it as a challenge which I can achieve. Id have to say at this time my parents are my superheroes for the reason they gave birth to me and have helped me through good and bad times. And I can count on them anytime. Naomi Whitefield
I am 18 years of age. I have worked as a vacuum cleaner saleswomen since I was 14. I thoroughly enjoy working with people of every type, which is one of my reasons in joining this program. I also want to gain experience in the workforce and broaden my horizons. I have a keen interest in natural healing, the metaphysical and anything mysterious! My superhero would have to be my mum, who has taught me to be open-minded, honest and considerate to all people and things.
I am 25 years of age. I have skills in Advertising, Marketing, Radio Announcing, Instore promotion, Awards 2001 Shine On award recipient. I am self employed running a marketing and disco entertainment business. Training with Announcers Academy of Australia radio training, Aussie Host Retail training workshop selling techniques. I am 22 years of age. I have been studying electronics for the last 3 years. My interests are playing the piano, going to the movies, reading and computer games. I joined Youth@bility because it was a unique opportunity to use my skills in a way that benefits the community. My superheroes are my parents who have always helped me achieve my best. Michael White
I am 18 years of age. I went to Damascus College. My main interests are music, lighting, cars, partying all night long to the early hours of the morning. I also like to spend time with friends. My name is Melissa. I am 19 years of age. I completed year 12 at Mt Clear Secondary College. My role is working in the news group at Youth@bility . I am involved in Auslan and Womens confidence classes for about 6 months. I am a client with Highlands Personnel and have been with them for 6 months. I am a deaf person who communicates via sign language (Auslan). My interests include reading books and using the Internet. My superhero is Julia Roberts actress. Melani Thomson
I am 24 years of age. I joined Youth@bility because I found that this project would be rewarding and challenging especially to contribute to the community. My interests are playing music clarinet, playing racquetball, country life horses and bushland, corresponding with people on the internet around the world and reading books. My superhero is God. I am a Christian and I believe in him and seek him spiritually and he guides me in my life.
