Collectors who are waiting patiently for the next series of Mondos can expect to wait a bit longer - the latest word is that Series 2 won't be released until the end of 2001 or early 2002.  The reasons given for this delay were rather vague - something about other projects and possibly even more work on the website.  To say this is disappointing for the collectors is a bit of an understatement, as we were hoping that Mars were NOT going to enrol in the "Cadbury School of How (Not) To Treat Your Customers"...  Still, most of us are also Yowie collectors and are therefore already used to waiting a year or two for a new series, so we can probably consider this pretty much "standard"  *sigh*.
