MESSAGE NUMBER COMPETITION

The original owner of the Group (Neil Travis) decided to give a prize for what, at that time, was thought to be a milestone - the "500th" message posting to the group. Neil then, tongue-in-cheek, dobbed in Andra (Chook) to give the next prize - which was to be a week's holiday at her Chooksheds.
However after this little bit of fun, it was decided that each and every message was a milestone in itself, so a number was nominated by a member (Eg: message # 10,000) and when that message was posted the "winner" would get a prize and in turn select the next number and give a prize, and so on. Below is a history of our message prizes thus far.
(Note in the beginning anyone could nominate a prize - then it was changed to the winner having to nominate one).
