Nanino
Nanino av Operahuset was born on august 17 1999 in Operahuset-cattery in Skjoldastraumen (Norway) with Liv and Alf Fiveland. He was a lovely kitten with all good markings of a real Birman!
In the first week of november 1999 I flew down to Norway to pick up Nanino. I stayed with Liv and Alf and their cats for almost a week. I had a great time there, Liv and Alf were very nice to me! Thanks, Liv and Alf, for your hospitality and for trusting me with one of your kittens!
Nanino should be our last breeding male. But after some unexpected losses under our breeding- girls (2 girls with wrong blood-type for Nanino and a girl with Patella-luxaty) we decided to have Nanino neutered. Since we had only 2 girls left for breeding (they both have bloodtype B) we thought it was only fair to Nanino to neuter him, so that he could live a normal life as a housecat.
Unfortunately our redpoint neuter Raymondo did not think the same way we did, he decided that Nanino had to leave. We were afraid this would happen, it wasn't the first time that Raymondo decided that an (ex)-male had to leave.
So we found Nanino a very good home with some friends of ours. He is now living together with an other young neutered male that was born in our cattery: Ypsilon's Basquez (Liden Kirsten's Pavarotti DM x Julia Ant Bwe Lay). These two young boys live the best life a cat can have!!!
