Wednesday, August 23 Abbott Poolhouse: "What do you mean it's never going to happen?," Billy asks Mack, as the two continue their conversation in the poolhouse. Billy says that he thought Jill would be off their backs, now that she knows Mack is who she says she is. Mack says that she thought so too, but Jill set her straight. "She doesn't want me to even look at you," Mack continues. Billy asks her if she said that, and Mack said that she did, "in plain english." Billy is furious that his mom is being like this... "Why the hell is this happening?!" he says. Mack is reaching tears now, and tells Billy that his mother will never let them be together. Mack, who's has tears running down her face, tells Billy that she "can't talk about this anymore" and leaves the room through the back. Billy is still furious, as he stands alone in the poolhouse, trying to hold back tears.
Abbott Pool: Jill questions Brittany about her relationship with Billy. Brittany doesn't respond, so Jill asks if she should assume she means that everything's fine? Phyllis interrupts, "I think what she's trying to say is that it's none of your business!" Jill turns to Phyllis commenting, "Who the hell invited you into this conversation?" Brittany stops them by saying that everything's fine with Billy. Jill leaves and Phyllis asks Brittany why she didn't tell Jill about Billy and Mac. Brittany walks over to the table and puts her bag down. Phyllis asks her again, and she says that she had thought about what Phyllis said, and she wanted to keep her options open. As the two are talking, Rianna walks in, "I hope I'm not late!" Phyllis tells her that she's right on time and calls the rest of the gang. Billy and Brittany sit in lounge chairs. Rianna and Raul talk, off to the side, as they look at them. Raul tells her about how he saw Brittany at the coffeehouse earlier, and she was totally out of it, and feeling terrible, and she wouldn't be coming today. Then she walked in all happy. Rianna says that that is pretty weird. Raul guesses that Billy and Brittany have gotten into another fight and they're just acting it for the camera. Rianna says that she hopes not, and Brittany wanted so much to be alone with Billy. "Well get this," Raul says, "Brittany split right after we did." "What?" Rianna asks, "Why?!" Raul tells her that "She said she was tired or something" (Raul has a 'yeah right' look on his face.) Phyllis tells Brittany that it's time for her online chat, and reviews what she's supposed to do. Brittany goes into the poolhouse as Phyllis tells her she'll be there in a minute. Phyllis watches Billy as he looks over at Mackenzie. Raul and Rianna start playing badminton by the pool, with sponge rackets. Billy gets up and walks over to Mack, who's working on the computer. "What can I do to cheer you up?" he asks her. "I'm okay," she replies "No you're not. Look, I promise Mack, I'm not gonna let my mom, or anyone, come between us. Not now, not ever... So do you think you can manage a little smile for me?" (Mack smiles a little) "You knock me out when you smile." (Mack's smile widens) "You just keep smiling, beautiful, because we're gonna work this out." Phyllis, who's been watching the two, thinks for a minute and then goes inside.
Abbott Poolhouse: Phyllis walks in and asks Brittany how the chat's going. She says that it's actually kinda slow, so she's gonna log off and try back in a few minutes. Phyllis gets right to the point, asking her if she's thought of any ideas. Brittany says that she's been thinking about it, but hasn't made any decisions. Phyllis wonders if Brittany really wants to lose Billy. (Brittany gets up from the computer) They discuss Brittany's plan to tell Jill about Billy and Mac. Phyllis says that it will blow up, but Brittany won't get Billy out of it. Brittany says that she's not sure if she ever wants Billy back after what he's done. They discuss it some more, and then Brittany decides to put Jill on hold and think of a better revenge plan. Phyllis agrees, and Brittany asks Phyllis if she has any ideas. Phyllis says that she'll think about it.
Poolside: "I mean it, Mack, we're gonna get through this, alright?" Mack is still discouraged as Billy continues, "No matter what it takes, or how long it takes. But you can't give up on us okay?" "I don't understand why you are putting yourself throught this," Mack replies, "You'd be much better off without me. I'm dragging you down." "That's not true." "Yes it is. It's bad enough that I have to go through this, why should you? It makes me wonder, why do you stay with me?" "Mack, come one, you gotta calm down." "Look, maybe we should just find other people. I can go back to Raul and you can stick with Brittany. It's the only practical thing to do now." "Hey," he looks up at Mack, "Hey, look at me," she still doesn't respond, "Look at me," Mack looks over at him slowly, "You want to see practical... when I look at you, all I can think about is how much you mean to me, how much I... look, it's not a question of I'm with you, you're with me. That's a done deal, I'm not going anywhere. We'll be fine, Mack. You have my word on that. You and me, we're gonna be fine."
