well this is quite the challanging day as usual... aren't they all? I am asking myself this question alot ... Like why did you quit?  You could have been there forever... yikes! 

Answer:  I would have missed all of Ashley's play off games.  I would have missed being here for her when she needed me.  Maybe she doesn't need me as much as a toddler does but puberty is a hard time especially for girls.  

I made it my life goal to be here for my family weither or not they need or want me.  My kids are my life until they are too old to need me.  I hope it won't come exactly at the time when I need them more. 

I have an interview tomorrow at DSS for the state again.  I am up for Program Manager.  I picked a later time so that I would be around when Mr. B gets out of work and not have to go back over the bridge again.  When we moved over to what I call the burbs, I didn't think that gas would become such an issue ... Then again who did?

Ashley is now at her sax lessons that she didn't get all summer cause the instrument (owned by the school) was in the shop.  She is now getting to have lessons every week till school starts.  Which is better anyway.  That way she is in the swing of things to start Middle School band.

What really gets my goat is how snotty this one gal that is in her class is.  Wow ... Ashley is beneath her ...  I just want to bitch slap her so hard.. Sorry old middle school memories.   What a joke life can be.  It truely is harder to go through adolesence as the mom.  YIKES

Time to go back and get her, time flies when you're having fun. Mood today...
