         The quiet, kind-hearted kid struggling to have the "normal" life.  Until last March, Mackenzie has had to endure the company (and most likely, abuse) of her stepfather.  It was so bad that she ran away to a homeless shelter (poor girl).  While there she became good buddies with Kay, and later found out that Kay (better known as Katherine Chancellor) was her grandmother!!  *gasp*  They then left the Genoa City homeless shelter and headed to the Chancellor Estate (a place I wouldn't mind living in).  Only one problem... Jill Abbott, the Genoa City villainess, decided to move into the place.  And let me tell you, Jill Abbott is someone you definitely don't want to live with.  She torments Mackenzie with threats day in and day out. 

          Mackenzie's boyfriend is Raul... a pretty nice catch for a first boyfriend, don't you think?  Unfortunately, Mackenzie never really liked Raul as much as he liked her (poor guy), and that was partly due to her feeling for Billy.  At first, her and Billy were like oil and water... they annoyed each other like crazy, but later decided to be more civil... for Raul's sake (suuuuuure).  But emotions could definitely not be ignored.  When Billy was in the hospital for hypothermia, Mac couldn't hide it anymore.  Afterwards, they admitted their feelings for each other, but decided not to act on them because... (big surprise here) because of Raul.  They didn't want to hurt little 'ol Raul's feelings.

          Prom eventually rolled around and Mac was crowned prom queen with Billy as the prom king.  You know what they means... yep!  The king and queen's dance.  The oh-so-slow and very romantic dance left no mixed messages between the two, and that night they Kissed! (a lot) and revealed how much they liked each other.  Unfortunately, they had to keep their relationship a secret because of Jill threats to Mac.  So, they continued dating Brittany and Raul UNTIL Mac couldn't take it anymore.  She had to be honest with Raul, and broke it off with him.  (way to go, Mac!  All we need now is for Billy to do the same!!)
