As I walked along the shore,
Smelling the cool morning breeze
I felt the waves crashing against my legs,
During that roaring, raging, night.

Stepping forward,
The sun brightly blinding,
The world around me.
Which had meant nothing but pain and agony

Moving against the current, Against the world.
Deeper and deeper,
Until the taste of the salty sea,
Became a part of me.
With its strong arms,
Cradling me, and guiding the way
To peace
