Distance Earth from Mercury on November 01, 2005 is 130,241,100 km, The Mercury below Earth in the sky.

On November 03, 2005, Mercury distance 125,421,100 km. 

On November 06, 2005, Mercury distance 114,647,700 km.  

On November 09, 2005, Mercury distance 106,224,200 km.  

B.  Retrograde    

On November 13, 2005, Mercury distance 90,875,650 km. The Dark Earth seen from Mercury at the East until November 16, 2005.  The Mercury retrograde After sunset.

And November 23, 2005, Mercury distance 93,699,500 km. The Dark Earth seen from Mercury at the west. The Mercury retrograde before sunrise until December 04, 2005.

November 13, Distance Earth from Sun is 151,407,600 km and  Mercury from Sun is 57,407,600 km.

November 23, Distance Earth from Sun is  150,803,400 km and Mercury from Sun is 64,915,500 km.

Distance Mercury from Sun is  change significant .

So, Why Retrograde ?   a). Mercury Retrograde happen when Mercury relative turn to the left in orbit to sun but Earth in length orbit relative straight.

b). Illustration image upside  explain us that Retrograde all planet happen when Earth Map rotate backward to the Left (to east).  If The World Map Rotate to the right (to west) is  leaves. ( Mars Retrograde is the easy sample explain) 

C.  After Retrograde  

Since December 04, 2005. Mercury revolved  to the left  leave out The Earth..
