Time Out

The first album ever focused on time signature different from the canonic 4/4. It has his greater innovation in the difficult 5/4 of Brubeck's quartet greatest: hit Take Five. His rhythmic piano pattern create a very easy to follow groove that helps our ears in listening this complex tune. This quartet has a great sax player in Paul Desmond, composer of Take Five and refinated soloist with his mellow sounding alto sax. A very cerebral set but very easy to love also without a technical preparation.

Il primo album focalizzatosi sui tempi diversi dal solito 4/4. Ha la sua più grande innovazione nel difficile 5/4 di Take Five, il più grande successo del quartetto. Il suo pattern di piano riesce a creare un groove che aiuta le nostre orecchie a non perdersi in questo complesso brano. Questo quartetto ha in Paul Desmond, compositore della citata Take Five, un ottimo sax alto ed un raffinato solista. Un album molto cerebrale ma facilissimo da amare anche senza una buona preparazione tecnica.
