Sergeant Sheep
Investigates

Sergeant Sheep arrived at the bandroom a little after 10:00.  The band members were all congregated at the front of the vestry.  On Sergeant Sheep's orders, the corpse was moved carefully into the bandroom where it could be examined more easily.  It was not a pretty sight - the leg of a rusty music stand had been speared through Katrina's heart.
Sergeant Sheep examined the body for any other marks, but found nothing of any significance.  She then looked around at the other players, most of whom seemed to be watching her closely with a sort of ghoulish interest.  Gemma was sitting on the stool by the piano, giggling (almost hysterically, Sergeant Sheep thought) to herself.  Helen was rummaging around in her euphonium case. She shot Larry a furtive glance from the corner of her eye.
Sergeant Sheep thought it improbable that any one of these people could have committed such a heinous act.  But perhaps someone had seen or knew something that could shed some light on the mystery.  She decided that the best plan of action would be to send everyone home and commence her enquiries in the morning.
