News of Alud's tutoring skills spread like wildfire.  He undercuts his competitors and parents find that their children are actually making some progress!  The band is soon filled with talented young players and within five years is promoted to the first section.  Alud has enough money stashed away to treat everyone to a weekend in Prestatyn.
