Ayumu Narumi:
The main character of the story. He is a senior first year student at Tsukiomi Pirvate High School. He is very smart but lacks confidence in himself and does not believe in his own strength.
He appears to be a bit too "cool" and does not have many (if any) friends. However, he is a good guy. He doesn't like involving innocent people in situations that are potentially dangerous. |

Hiyono Yuizaki:
Ayumu's best partner when it comes to solving mysteries and dilemmas. She is a senior year two student at Tsukiomi Pirvate High School. She is the school newspaper club's president and is very good at collecting information.
She has a positive attitude. She doesn't seem to have any worries at all. Is a
very trusting person and has strong faith in Ayumu. |

Madoka Narumi:
Ayumu's sister-in-law and wife of Narumi Kiyotaka. She is a hard-working police inspector of the homocide department.
Although she appears strong, Madoka is very concerned about the whereabouts of her husband. She had not heard from him ever since he disappeared two years ago. |

Eyes Rutherworth:
A world famous pianist. He is also the leader of the Blade Children. Eyes always has this apathetic look on his face and hardly ever show any emotions.
As a leader, Eyes can remain calm in the most dangerous situations. Like Ayumu, he is more intelligent than most other people. |

Kousuke Azasuki:
He is one of the Blade Children. Like most the other Blade Children, Kousuke can kill without hesitation. However, he only kill the ones who try to kill him. He is a good person deep within. His weapon is a knife.
Kousuke cares a lot for his friends. He is also a big liar and doesn't keep his promises. He somewhat lack intelligence, he puts himself in danger, in which Ryouko calls him an idiot. |

Rio Takeuchi:
She is also one of the Blade Children. She is an explosives specialist and can make any kinds of bombs.
Despite her appearance, Rio is actually pretty smart. Unlike Ayumu, she is confident and believes in herself. She had defeated Ayumu in some of her deadly mind games. |

Ryoko Takamachi:
Ryoko is the last member of the Blade Children. She is good at sports and is the top runner of the school. The school she goes to is the same one as Ayumu.
She doesn't like killing people, even if they are Hunters (the ones that tries to eliminate the Blade Children). Ryoko had known Kousuke ever since she was little. |

Kanone Hilbert:
Kanone is Eye's best friend and is also a member of the Blade Children. He doesn't appear in the anime until episode 11.
Kanone is very good at throwing knife. He is deadly accurate. |
