Power Tower MYTH Supposedly, there is some way of getting three powers in one piece when you want it….
Dither/clump UNKNOWN Does dither/clump have a set way of arranging blocks?
Yahoo! Blocks UNKNOWN Do Yahoo!'ed blocks end up being placed in a certain pattern?
Stone UNKNOWN Do stones have a certain pattern in where they are placed? Which ones are dropped first?
Add Rows KNOWN Is there a pattern to what blocks appear when you add row? Yup :]
Pieces MYTH It's been said games don't have random three pieces, and if you play long enough, you'll come across the same game….
Long Games MYTH Sure, the berserk time period happens but is there anything after that?
CB Yahoo! REMOVED In the old days, a color blast Yahoo! would disconnect your opponent.
Hack Rooms REMOVED Before, pressing enter or space bar fast activated the [click here when done] button and you could click on [Join] before it disappeared in protected rooms.
Freeze Yahoo!

KNOWN

How do you make it seem like you're lagging and then throw at your opponent at once? Pick up the phone and then wait a bit, then  put it back down. This is a bug and cheat and needs to be removed.

" I was reading your tower myth's section.. well here is some of the closely guarded secrets that only a handful know ....

Power Tower... break 4 blocks of the same could.. the power of that colour will come on the next couple of falls (think about a colour blast... you almost always get a purple power block almost straight afterwards) The power tower is only luck however if you manage to break 4 of the same colour and there is 3 (or 2 or 1) of the same colour on the next fall then they all become a power.

There is another way on how to get the power block you want.. break 3 of the same colour, then 3 of the same exact colour as before and a power block will come, this is how the mega and minor power blocks are done.

A new one.. The add block rule when you yahoo.. a horizontal sends out x1 of the blocks broken, diagonal x2 and vertical x3, however this is stopped at these yahoo only, so if you do an x yahoo! it will only count as counting for a diagonal therefore only sends out x2 of the blocks broken, the same with the others - it will only count for the highest multiple. This is how come vertical yahoos do a lot of damage, although the diagonal is the all rounder yahoo as it is the second quickest to do and sends out x2 of the block broken.

Just another answer to some people's question... why doesn't a midas piece add blocks to opponents boards? This is because a midas piece is a defense block and not an attack block and therefore doesn't blast out blocks. The same rule applies to the colour blast, but because the purple Os are there, they are counted as for normal blocks and are blasted to opponents boards.

The next lot are only what I think:

Yahoo! Blocks.. i think that blocks are added from the lowest points of the opponent's board.. but without breaking anything. Rainbows are harder to explain as sometimes a entire yahoo is added then rainbowed back to the opponents, it may work in the same way.

Stones.. I think stones are usually added from the lowest points.

Add Rows.. I think this is usually the last 6 sets of 3 blocks that you broke.. maybe why entire yahoos are added. But it may just be auto generated.

Long Games.. after berserk usually comes the opponent's death, however a good player can usually over come this, there is not really anything after berserk. Also yahoo berserk mode can happen, a technique of mine, were you set up about 4 incomplete vertical yahoos and break one then rain one of the other verts on the next fall.. I've managed to get up to 6 rain verts before.

Freeze Yahoo! ... I wouldn't call this freeze yahoo as it often is said in the wrong content.. a freeze yahoo is a partner yahoo. I would call this a lagged yahoo.

Pieces.. this is mainly luck.. because there are only a small number of block combinations (21, maybe 63... I think) the combination may look like the same and can also depend on what you break.
**(In response to this paragraph, I received an email with the following information. I'm confused with all this stuff!! But I hope it makes sense to all of you reading this :o) - pawn
There are 216 combinations. In one block with three units, there are six possible colors that could be in the first spot, another six in the second, and another six in the third. this gives 6*6*6 or 6 to the 3rd power, equaling 216. For what it's worth, I thought I'd clear that up.

I hope this is enough information to solve almost all the myth's and reveal some other new secrets."

COMBINATIONS - There are 74 different combinations to the pieces. Click here to view the combinations (this is a word document)

to finally solve the question about pieces and their combinations:

Leon Strand is right as far as there can be 216 different combinations appearing in the "drop next" box (6 colors for top block, 6 colors for middle block and 6 colors for bottom block, so 6x6x6 = 216). BUT as the player can switch the blocks (YAH is then the same as AHY or HYA), relevant for the game is the number of possible combinations. Whoever had the work to list all combinations in that word document you provide, the number of 74 is wrong, they missed 2 (Oo! and o!!). It have to be 76: 6 combinations of 3 same colors (YYY, AAA, ...) 6 x 5 = 30 combinations of 2 same colors and 1 different color (YYA, YYH, ...) 2 x (6!/(3! x 3!)) = 2 x (720/36) = 40 combinations of 3 different colors (20 ways to choose 3 different colors out of 6; then 2 ways to order them, f.e. YAH and YHA)  This adds to 76.

So, according to statistics a player will be able to predict the upcoming tower in only 1 of 76 cases (1.32%), so lets say it's rather useless to try.

Maybe it's interesting to know, that if you need a special color (for example a Y to complete an AHOo!), the probability to get it in the next move is 40.79% (31/76), to get it within 2 moves is 64.94%, within 3 moves 79.24% - so, f.e. if you need the last block for an X-hoo, you will have to wait more than 3 moves in about every 5th game.

If you are waiting for a tower with 2 special colors  (f.e. YA to complete a vertical), this will appear in 7.89% (6/76) of all moves, so you probably will have to wait 13 moves to get it.

To get an YAH to complete an Oo! will only happen every 76 moves, so is it worth waiting for?

I don't know if all this will help a player to improve, but I could not keep back...
