28. If a man finds a virgin girl who was not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found,

29. the man who lay with her shall give fifty [shekels of] silver to the girl's father, and she shall become his wife, because he violated her. He shall not send her away all the days of his life.

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. [c] He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

25 But if out in the country a man happens to meet a girl pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die. 26 Do nothing to the girl; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders his neighbor, 27 for the man found the girl out in the country, and though the betrothed girl screamed, there was no one to rescue her.

):

25. But if a man finds the betrothed girl in the field, and the man overpowers her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die.

26. Whereas to the girl, you shall do nothing the girl did not commit a sin deserving of death, for just as a man rises up against his fellow and murders him, so is this case.

27. Because he found her in the field. The betrothed girl had cried out, but there was no one to save her.

我们首先用两个比较经典的基督教的英文版本King James Version,和犹太人的圣经英文版本“A Hebrew - English Bible According to the Masoretic Text and the JPS 1917 Edition”做一下对照,看看基督徒究竟篡改了什么。

King James Version

22:22If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

King James Version

22:23If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

A Hebrew - English Bible

A Hebrew - English Bible(According to the Masoretic Text and the JPS 1917 Edition)(犹太人的托拉英文译本)

22:24then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die: the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife; so thou shalt put away the evil from the midst of thee.

King James Version

22:25But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:

1to take, get, fetch, lay hold of, seize, receive, acquire, buy,

bring, marry, take a wife, snatch, take away

2to take, capture, seize

A Hebrew - English Bible According to the Masoretic Text and the JPS 1917 Edition”中是25节使用的是“take hold of” 28节是“lay hold on her”

希伯来文“lay hold on”是“taphas”。 意为:

1) to catch, handle, lay hold, take hold of, seize, wield

a) (Qal)

1) to lay hold of, seize, arrest, catch

2) to grasp (in order to) wield, wield, use skilfully

b) (Niphal) to be seized, be arrested, be caught, be taken, captured

c) (Piel) to catch, grasp (with the hands)

23节也仅仅说, “find her in the city, and lie with her”. 29节中,犹太人根据Masoretic Text JPS 1917 Edition翻译的英文使用“he hath humbled her”来表明女子的受害情况。

If a man rapes a virgin he must pay the fine in any event and must marry her (unless she does not want him) and can never divorce her (except for cause), as it says "If a man finds a virgin and seizes her and lies with her... he must give her father 50 pieces of silver and she must become his wife... he cannot send her away all his life".(Deut. 22:28-29)

2, Sanhedrin 004引用:

The Torah, in Deuteronomy 22, distinguishes between two kinds of sexual relationship between and man and a woman outside the marriage bond: rape and seduction... Verses 28-29 of that chapter deal with the rape of an unmarried woman.

QWhat does Jewish law say about rape and seduction?

AThe Torah specifies fines for a man who rapes or seduces a woman, and he must also marry her; see Ex.22:16-17 and Deut. 22:28-29. But Rabbinical courts are no longer qualified to enforce these laws.
