Vice-Chancellor David VandeLinde presenting me with the Chilcott Prize
The Chilcott Prize is one of several prizes awarded on an annual basis to students who are considered to have contributed significantly to creative arts at the University of Bath. Specifically, the Chilcott Prize is awarded for instrumental playing (as opposed to singing or other arts). Because of the large number of very dedicated and highly talented musicians amongst the student population at the university, I consider myself very fortunate and honoured to have be chosen for the award. Professor David VandeLinde, who was Vice-Chancellor for around a decade at the University of Bath until the end of the 2000-2001 academic year, presented the award. |
