Meetings

Since 1990, the Yuen Ren Society has sponsored meetings and panels at scholarly conferences.

Future meetings

• 4-7 April, 2003. Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the American Oriental Society, Nashville, TN. Submissions are still being accepted.
• 7-10 November, 2002. Panel at the 35th ICSTLL, Arizona State University, Tempe. [Program available here.] (Note: We are no longer accepting submissions for this panel.)

Past meetings:

• 11-14 October, 2001. Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with the American Oriental Society, Western Branch, at UCLA. Cancelled after the September 11th attacks, although some papers were absorbed into the regular AOS program.
• 12-15 March, 2000. Annual Meeting, with the theme of “The History of Spoken Chinese”. Held in conjunction with the 210th Annual Meeting of the American Oriental Society, Portland, Oregon.
• 6 March, 1999. Annual Meeting, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
