| Kenshin met Yahiko, when Yahiko was attemping to pickpocket him and Kaoru. Kenshin kept his calm, and he helps Yahiko escape the gangster lifestyle he was being forced into living. He is amazed by Kenshin's strength, and always strides to be that strong. He goes into Kaoru's school, rather then being trained by Kenshin, which disappoints him at first. He always fights with Kaoru, but for the most part they are kidding. Yahiko plays a pretty important role in the series, as he often does his best in whatever way possible. |
