Traped in Trivalace
By: Lucus

To every life, there's always an end, But I close my eyes, I still see your face; beautiful... And I throw a rose as they now lower you down But I still believe I'll see you again I wait for the day that I can once more hold you tight Until then, I can't cry this pain away Until then, memories are all I have... As I lie awake at night, listening to this quiet rain, I think of you... As I pray, my wish is that this burning emptiness inside would heal... As night arrives, the heartache begins For in every dream, the image of you still lingers So I walk alone, sleepless, guided by the moon I know I'll give to eternal sleep, And when that day comes, I'll never again let you go I'll pretend that I'm not about to cry I'll pretend that these tears are only rain I close my eyes, I turn around, and go on my way With the dream that somewhere out there, love, you wait for me, too And though I am alone again, I shed not a tear How beautiful is my loneliness, how great is my pain...

‘Trivalace, This is where it all started. Why am I even back here?’ Yuki thought as he sat on a chair, looking out of the window. Moonlight gleaming on the tops of the neighboring buildings. Yuki is staying at the house of one of his best friends, Jason Trulic, while his dad’s place is being renovated. Yuki didn’t like to be in Trivalace. He run his hands through his light green hair. Eyes weak from lack of sleep. He’s been having flashbacks of precognitions from the past. Every time he saw one play back, his heart began to sink lower. Every time he watched Chris get kidnapped. Every time he saw Tracey die, His heart ached. Every time it play back, another tear streamed down his face. Every time he saw Chase chained up, cut everywhere. He grew angry. What is causing them to play back? Guilt? He couldn’t stand it anymore, But he had to bare it. If not for himself. For those he cared about. Chase, Travis, Jason, Sora. For them he is living. His will to protect them from any more pain is what’s driving him to press on. He heard the sound of something scuffing across the floor, in his direction. “Uki?” he heard, and something tugging on his pants. “Hn?” He looked down and saw little blond haired Travis, Tears streaming down his face. “What’s the matter buddy?”

“I miss Daddy…” He said as he started to cry some more.

“Come here,” He said as he lifted the small child onto his lap. “He’ll be here soon. Don’t worry.”

”Why does he have to leave so much.” The boy sobbed. “Its not fair.”

“I know, I know. “ He wrapped his arms around the small child. “You should be in bed though you know.”

”I don’t want to go. Not without daddy.”

“Ok, lets play a game until he gets back. What game do you want to play?”

“No game. I want you to sing.”

“You know I don’t like singing.” He looked down at the child in his arms. Tears still streaming down his face. “But I’ll do it for you, And only You.” He said.

“Sing that sad song you were singing this morning.”

“alright.”

The piano in the corner started playing a slow, soft tune.

“But only for you.”

“sayonara ... aishita taisetsu na hito

A violin floated out of its case in the living room and started playing.

“sayonara ... aishita taisetsu na hito

Yuki glanced down at the child in his arms. Travis was fast asleep.
Yuki sat there the rest of the night, Travis still in his arms.
‘Jay. Come back soon. And Come back safe.’

* *

Yuki woke up the next morning, sun blinding him, Travis still in his arms. He heard the door squeak open and the sound of more then one person entering the room. He saw the back of Jay’s head as he was talking to someone. “I just need to check on Travis.”

“Bout time you got back.” Yuki said, It seemed to startle his friend, who was about to head down the hall to his sons room. “Yuk, you scared me.” He said as he turned to face his friend, who has risen, still holding his son in his arms.

“He didn’t give you any trouble did he?” Jason asked curiously as Yuki handed him his son.

“Not really. He had a hard time sleeping though.”

“Normally he doesn’t sleep unless I’m here, How did you get him to sleep?”

Someone looked around the corner, curious to see who had taken care of Travis while Jay was gone. He had short blue hair.

“I gotta go.” Yuki said suddenly. Noticing who was there. “I’ll be back later.”

“Alright. But I might need you again tonight.”

Yuki walked beside the blue haired boy, Grabbed his Black trench coat off the hook And slipped it on.

“If you need me” Yuki said. “Just scream.” Yuki exited the room. Careful not to slam the door behind him. The green-haired boy Leaned up against the door.

‘Who was that?’ the blue haired boy asked his red haired friend. ‘and why do I recognize him?’

‘That’s Yuki Akari. He’s one of the extra’s for…’ ‘our secret club.’

‘DADDY!’

* *

Yuki went to check out everything. Trivalace hasn’t changed that much in the year he was gone But, some of it was different. ‘What am I doing here. I don’t belong.’ The Green-haired boy kept thinking to himself over and over again. He walked for hours, just staring aimlessly at the buildings.

As Yuki passed this one building. He glanced up to the roof. He had a flash back, Fire, Red, hot fire. He felt his body being scorched. Fire blinded his vision and he stumbled to the side of the building, He fell to the ground and almost passed out, as the memory took over his mind. He Felt like his Head was going to explode.

He snapped back to reality when a woman’s voice asked “Are you alright?” His body still felt on fire. “I wouldn’t get to close to him,” A mans voice sounded behind the woman. “why?” She was very confused. “I’m Fine, just go. Please.” Yuki said to the woman. The woman did as she was asked. Yuki turned to see who the man was. He recognized the voice. The Blonde haired, Blue eyed man looked at Yuki with curiosity. “What are you doing here?” the man asked.

“Evermore?” ‘why didn’t I sense him?’

“I thought you hated it here?”

“I do.”

“Then why are you here?”

“I’m here for Dad and Jason.”

“Just make sure that Tracey doesn’t see you. He’s still hates you.”

‘Tracey… still doesn’t understand… why…’ Yuki thought to himself.

“He still doesn’t know why you would put Sora in danger like that.”

“I would rather have Sora cut and bruised then Dead. Why Trace can’t understand that. And He refuses to see what I saw. If Trace had’ve gone. He would’ve been dead.”

“He hates you cause you let Sora get hurt.”

“So he rather He died, and Sora kill himself? I don’t think I could live with myself If I let that happen.”

“You have to see it through Tracey’s eyes.”

“I already know how he thinks of me. I’m a horrible Monster for putting Sora in danger. But it was For his own good. I didn’t want it to happen again.” His eyes started to fill with tears. “Not to another person. No one should have to live with that.”

“I know. What happened to Chris was…”

”I don’t need to be reminded Evermore.” Tears were streaming down his face. “That’s the Last thing I need to be reminded of.” Yuki turned away. “I could’ve stopped it.”

“How could you’ve? You were only eleven. You didn’t know what was going on.”

“Still, If I only paid more attention. He would still be here.” Yuki couldn’t handle the memories anymore.

‘If only I paid attention.’

He took off at down the alley as fast as he could, then jumped into the air. He flew up as high as he could.

“You know, you can’t get away.” Ev said as he appeared in front of the crying teen.

“Just leave me alone.”

“Why should I do that? I know you too well, whether you like it or not.”

“Just Leave Me alone, Ev, I am So sick of people wanting to Help me. The only way you could help is Bring me Back my bestfriend.”

The Green haired boys brain felt on fire again. A sharp blistering pain in his temples. He grabbed his head. The Memorys of the Precognition were taking over again. More graffic each time.

Yuki stood on the corner of the building, starting at the sky.

“Well, Well, If it isn’t Yuki.” A man’s voice said from the shadows. Yuki turned in the direction of the voice. A tall dark man came out from the shadows and into the moonlight.

“Let Chris go!” Yuki yelled at him.

“Quite demanding for a man in your position. You’re But Eleven, and your already making demands. Touchy, Touchy.”

“Let him GO!” Yuki yelled again. “It’s Me you want, Not him.”

The man chuckled, “But young Yuki, you’ve been mislead, my Job, is to make your life Miserable, or have you not figured that out?”

“Why, why him?” The young teen’s eyes flooded with tears,

“Yuki, you haven’t figured it out. Have you? Well, you’ll figure it out soon enough. For now, you will rest assured, that your friend, will die, a most horrible death,” The man smirked. “And He’ll believe its All your fault.”

The man took a step forward, He waved his hand in the air above him, a wisp of smoked enveloped his body and he disappeared, leaving the young telepath on his knees. Yuki burry his face in his hands. His heart ached, the thought of what they might do to him, Yuki cried, he felt as if his heart was torn from his chest and lain in front of him. Yuki’s sorrow turned to rage, he balled his hands into fists, and punched the roof, his hand penetrated the roof.

He heard in the back of his mind, someone calling him, he focused on the voice as Evermore’s Voice pierced though the flash back.

“Yuki” He called “Snap out of it.”

‘Ev, help..’

‘Yuki, don’t let it take control, you can fight it.’

‘I cant… Help me... Ev…’

‘Yes, you can. Just listen to me.’

Yuki paused. The Flash back had Dissipated. He now heard the screaming of a little boy in the back of his mind.

‘Travis.’

‘Yuki, where you going?’

“Travis,” He said out loud. “He need help, he’s hurt.”

Yuki dove in the direction of the screaming. Going his Top speed. Evermore didn’t bother chasing after him. Yuki reached the park in a matter of seconds and Landed behind a tree. Travis was sitting on the grass, Crying. He wasn’t wearing his shoes and his foot was bleeding.

“Travis.” Yuki ran up to the crying child. “Are you ok?”

“It… Hurts… “ He said between sobs.

“Its going to be ok.” He said while picking up the crying boy.

“Put Him Down.” He heard a young woman yell at him.

“You are his Care Taker? You should be watching him, Not sucking face with your boyfriend.”

The young girl went silent.

“Oh and another thing, Shelly,” Yuki said rather angrily. “The moment you tell Jake your Pregnant, He will leave you.”

Her eyes widened in shock. How did He know so much. She doesn’t even know the guy. She opened her mouth to say something, but decided against it.

“Travis, we’re going home.”

“Uki. I miss Daddy.” The child sobbed again. “I want Daddy.”

“Come on Travis, Lets Go visit Daddy.” Yuki said rather Loudly.

* *

Yuki arrived at the school where Jason was continuing his studies. It was now lunch time, and Jason was in the Cafeteria, sitting in the corner. “Now, remember Travis, you can’t call him Daddy here alright. Do you remember why?”

“Cause its secret, right?”

“That’s right. So remember, shhhh.”

“shhh.” He mimicked.

Yuki walked into the cafeteria, still holding the shoeless child in his arm. Jason looked up as they enterd. “Travis, what are you doing here?”

“You should fire that babysitter.” Yuki said bluntly as he placed the child on Jason’s lap. “She didn’t even notice him Crying. He was Screaming for ten minutes. And she didn’t do a thing about it.”

“Why were you crying Travis?”

“I cut my foot.” He said pointing to the big cut on the bottom of his heel.

“Where are your shoes.”

“At home. She said she couldn’t find them.”

“They’re right beside the door.” Yuki said as he sat down across from his friend. “She just wanted to get out of the house quickly to see her boyfriend.”

“Jason?” Yuki looked around to see who it was. “What is Travis doing at school?” It was the Blue haired boy from this morning.

“Yuki brought him here. You remember Yuki.”

“Hi, I’m Sora.” The blue haired boy stretched out his hand to shake Yuki’s.

“Hey.” He said as He shook Sora’s hand. He kind’ve felt uncomfortable around him, but he was happy he didn’t remember what happened a year ago.

“Sora, Where’s Trace?” Jason asked, while giving Travis some of his fries.

“He said he would be here in a few minutes.”

Yuki got up right way when he heard this. “I gotta go for a sec. I’ll be back before lunch is over.”

“Where you going? You just got here.”

Yuki was already heading towards the door. He passed through the doorway just as Tracey was entering. Tracey looked at him funny at first, But then realized who he was, and Grabbed his Jacket. “You?!”

Yuki retched his arm away from the black haired boy and sped up toward the exit.

Yuki walked outside of the school, onto the grass. Hundreds of Students littered the lawn. Yuki leaned up against the side of the school. He buried his hands in his hair, placing his elbows on his knees. He reached into his Trench coat, undid the clasp on the holster and brought out his gun. He stared at it for a while. He sensed some one. Chase Wolf. The only person Yuki cares about, apart from Travis, Jason and Sora.

“You don’t really want to do that, do you?” The Black haired boy said as he approached.

Yuki stays silent. Yeah, he did want to do it. It was the only way that Yuki could think of to get rid of his suffering. But then again, He would lose the one he cared for, again, He would lose Chase, Sora, Travis, Jason. He remained staring at the gun. His hand is slightly shaking.

“You go, I got too. Remember?”

“I don’t want to drag you down with me.”

“Then put down the gun.”

“Hey Chase.” Someone said as the walked by. “Why bother with the freak, if he wants to kill himself, Let the freak Kill himself. Its not like you should care about him anyways.” Yuki looked up and gave him an evil glare. It was Chase’s so called best friend.

“Zander, Stay out of this.” Chase said.

“Why should I? What is he? Your Boyfriend?” He started laughing.

“Freeze!” Chase shouted. The laughing boy and all around him froze on the spot. Zander still had his mouth wide open.

“You still didn’t tell anyone about us did you?” Yuki said, rather annoyed.

“I did tell people, I just didn’t tell Zander.”

Yuki got up, gun still in his hand. He walked over to the frozen Zander, and placed the Gun in his mouth.

”This will solve our problems then.”

“Yuki don’t. I know you don’t like him. But you don’t have to kill him.”

“How can you call Him a friend? All he does is make fun of everyone. I’m really close to firing some warning shots. In His Brain. Chase, I got to get out of here. Un-freeze when I’m far gone.”

“Just don’t do anything stupid.”

* *

Yuki walked past hundreds of frozen people, and walked back into the school. He had just slipped back into the cafeteria when Chase unfroze everyone. Tracey, Sora and Jason were still sitting at the table, Travis had finished his fries.

The Green-haired boy approached cautiously, He tried hard to avoid trace, but it was inevitable that the hotheaded black haired boy was bound to make some snotty remark.

“Jason, do you want him to stay the rest of class, or have me watch him the rest of the day?”

“What part of ‘Go away and don’t come back did you Not Understand?” Came a Psi remark. Yuki chose to ignore it to the best of his abilities, but hearing that hurt Yuki more then Tracey could ever imagine.

“Travis, you’re going to have to go with Yuki.”

“Okay.”

“Come on Travis.” Yuki said as he lifted up the small boy into his arms. “Lets go get your Shoes.”

“Is he allowed Ice cream?” Yuki asked Jason telepathically.

“Only a little.”

“Kay, Say, bye, bye to Jason.”

“Bye, Bye!”

“And Don’t come back this time.”

* *

“You What?” Yuki said in shock.

”I enrolled you in school. And you’re going tomorrow.” Said his father, standing on the latter. Whipping his brow.

”What about Travis?” He said, pointing to the little boy who was now eating ice cream on the front porch of his fathers house.

“I’m sure that me and Derik can watch him. He’ll be fine.”

“but.”

”Your going to school. And that’s final. Just because you moved here doesn’t mean you have a right to quit school. I’ve already signed you up for all your classes. Art, math, Biology, English honors, Creative writing.”

“WHAT? Honors English and Creative writing. No. I’m not going to that.”

“But you love to write.”

”I’m NOT GOING!”

He said, terminating that line of subject. His father went back to doing the side paneling, while the green haired went over to the little boy eating ice cream.

“Why wont you go? Travis asks.

“Cause people are mean to me. And I don’t think I can handle the mean things they say anymore.”

“Who’s mean?”

“It doesn’t matter. Finish your ice cream and we’ll go visit daddy again alright.”

“Kay.”

Yuki sat down on the porch next to Travis. His heart sunk lower every time he replayed what Tracey had said to him.

“Uki, next time people are mean to you, just pretend they aren’t there.” He smiled.

“I’ll try Travis, I’ll try.” ‘Easier said then done kiddo.’

* *

After Yuki had returned with Travis to Jason’s house, Yuki and Jason agreed that Yuki’s father would be the best care for Travis. With that all set up, Yuki returned to his fathers house for the night. He lay in his bed, and stare at out the window. His heart sank a bit as he thought. The vision of Chase being tortured haunted his mind. He try to ignore it, but the thought wouldn’t go.

* *

Reluctantly, Yuki went to school. He had this odd sensation coming over him. He didn’t understand it. He walked into the school. He sighed as he stepped in. He wore his ‘best’ clothing. The outfit he wears at his concerts. The black button up shirt, with a white t-shirt underneath, black jeans, and his three red belts, one worn properly, the others crossed over his hips. His three red buckles on his left arm and a matching set on his left leg. He hid his revolver, tucked it under his jeans on a holster on his leg.

He picked up his time sheet at the office, and went to his first two classes, Art and Math. As usual, the teachers made him stand up in front of the class and introduce Himself. It was getting tiring. The sensation came on stronger as the hours went by.

He sat in the back of his Biology class as soon as the class started. Thankfully this teacher didn’t make him stand up in class. To his horror, Zander was in this class. Zander made the usual comments. “Hey Freak boy!” and such. So many times Yuki was about to reach for his revolver, and cap him a few. He thought better of it. As much as he wanted, he couldn’t.

At lunch he snuck around the back of the school before anyone was on the field and used his gravity power to propel him onto the roof. He sat up there all lunch, all the visions floated into his mind again. It was driving Yuki crazy. He watched the people below, trying to get the visions to go away, he concentrated hard on what people below were doing. When the bell for lunch rang, Yuki remained on the roof. No way was he about to go to Honor’s English. He knew who was there. He couldn’t stand the way Tracey looked at him. Esper’s cold violet eyes, piercing into his. Yuki bury his head into his arms.

He vaguely remembers a bell going off before he heard someone come onto the roof.

“You shouldn’t be skipping. You know.” Someone said.

Yuki sighed. “You going to make me, Sora?”

“Yep.” The blue haired boy said as he grabbed Yuki’s arm and started dragging him down stairs. The last thing Yuki wanted to do is hurt Sora, so he went along with it. Sora dragged him into the Creative Writing classroom before letting go. Yuki took a seat as far away from Tracey as he could. The black haired telepath gave him a sideways look as he sat down.

“I thought I told you to not come back. Why are you here?” Yuki heard in the back of his mind. He knew at once who it was, and ignored it. Tracey wasn’t going to get to him this time.

Yuki continued writing the story, which was assigned. It was about a young telepath who is taunted by the past, not unlike what was happening to Yuki himself.

“What kind’ve person purposely lets someone else get hurt.” He heard Esper say again, his tone of voice sounded rather cruel, and snarky. Yuki’s mind started to scream. He put his hands on his forehead as something entered his mind. Images, people, places, they entered his mind all at once, convulsing, Yuki fell out of his chair.

“Yuki?” the teacher said, in a quite calm voice.

“What kind’ve person purposely lets someone get hurt.” Yuki turned around. It wasn’t Esper this time. A tall man stood there. Dark hair covered his eyes, Yuki recognized the voice. “Ah, I know, someone like you.” He said. “Remember Yuki, how you let Chris be tortured. I remember.” He smirked. “How could I forget that? The look on Chris’s face when he heard that you let him be captured, how he found out that you wouldn’t stop it. You let him die.” The man started laughing at Yuki.

“Yuki!” he heard Sora’s voice and a blue figure kneeling beside him.

“Aww, Poor, Poor little Yuki. Having to see that.” The Man smiled again.

* *

Sora, Chase, and Evermore stood over Yuki, who was laying in a hospital bed. Chase, knelt on the floor beside him, holding his limp hand. Sora sat in the chair to the right, and Evermore stand at the foot.

“What caused this?” Evermore spoke up after being silent for almost an hour.

“I’m not sure.” Chase said, he remained gripping onto the green haired boys hand.

“There must’ve been something.” Evermore, looked down at the boy on the bed. “These things don’t usually happen on their own”

Evermore stare at the boy on the bed. He sensed pain, sensed that he needed help.

”Is there anything you could do?” Chase asked him, looking up at the blond haired man.

“I could try.” He said. He was debating something. “Tracey, your coming with me.”

“Me? Why?”

“I have a feeling I will need you.”

Tracey sighed. “Fine, I’ll go.” He said, rather reluctantly.

Evermore placed himself at the foot of the bed, and focused his energies. He concentrated on the Astral plain. Tracey and him shut their eyes, as they felt their energies come together and form, in the Plain.

* *

“What are you doing here?” They heard Yuki say to them. “I want you out.”

They open their eyes, they quickly focused to the darkened skies that surround them. In the distance they could see far off galaxies, star formations, nebulas and comets.

“Yuki, We came to help.” Evermore said calmly, as he saw the boy sitting not far away from them, his head resting in his arms.

“Go away. I don’t need any help.”

“Yuki.” Evermore said again, more firmly.

“I said, GO AWAY” and with that came a gust of energy from the green haired boy, focusing his energies to force the blond out. Evermore put his arms up to cover his face as he braced for the impact of the kinetic energy from the small boy. As soon as it hit, Tracey watched as his comrade disappeared from the plain completely.

Yuki stood up to face the Black haired telepath in front of him.

“So, Trace, you ready now?”

”Ready for what.”

”To see my reason, the reason I had to restrain you from going to the mission. You ready to face the truth?” Tracey saw a smirk play upon the Green haired boys face. “You’re going to see it no matter what. I’ve trapped you in here.”

Yuki raised his hand and gestured to the sky, An image played on it.

The Iyada gang stand in the familiar room, Awaiting the video of their target. Tensions mount as the mission comes closer. Yuki stay Hidden away in the Dark corner of the room, Checking his arrows, Making sure He has everything secure and Hidden under his black trench coat. The others wait in the light. Jason paced around the room impatiently, while Kim lay up against the wall. “Jason, would you quit it already?” She snapped at the wandering red-haired boy. “Its bad enough that she dragged us out here in the middle of the night, you don’t need to get your panties in a knot just because she’s late.”

“Your one to talk Kim.” The young black-haired Telepath retorted.

“Would you Guys stop acting like children for at least five minutes?” Sora said, trying to be calm, But he was as worried as they were. Aunt Sarah was never late like this before. Especially on an important Mission like this.

Yuki remained silent in the corner. He was going to get Chase back No matter the cost. Memorys of the Mornings Precognition were still haunting his brain. He play it in his mind countless times. ‘Is it real? Or just another daydream?’ He thought to himself. After being silent for about of hour. He finally speaks up.

“She’s here.”

The others turned around to face the door. And sure enough, Sarah opens the door 15 seconds later. She hastily walks toward the VHS player and pops in the tape.

“This is your target, Samuel R. Christiensen. He’s been kidnapping children for over a month. suppressing their memories and Training them to Do his bidding. He needs to be stopped at all costs. Watch out for his mind control. It is known that after work he goes to the roof for a cigarette. Use that to your advantage. ”

“Got it under control.” Esper said with no hint of doubt in his mind.

“Don’t be too sure about that.” Yuki muttered under his breath.

“Go forth into the night.”

Target works in a seven story building, across town. Tons of shadows to hide the oncoming. The Iyada members take refuge, Covered by darkness. Young Sora on the roof, with Tracey covering for him. Kimberly, hiding on the building opposite to them. Jason, on the one across from her. Yuki stays in the shadows above the ground. Flying high enough as not to be caught.

“A.. Achoo!” Sora let out.

‘Keep quite!’ Yuki said Telepathically to him.

‘Sorry, I couldn’t help it.’

‘Well, try to, we can’t afford to be caught.’

A Tall, Slender, man walked up onto the roof. His Dark Blond hair, Dark brown in the moonlight. He was wearing a Slim black suit, and Sure enough. Smoking a Cigarette.

‘Sora, Shoot him now.’ The Green haired telepath shouted at the Blue haired boy.

As Sora Raised the gun to fire, His hands froze. “I cant... Move…” He whispered.

Yuki grabbed his Bow and Ready his aim. He has the target in his sights. He pulls back, but then cant let go. “What’s a matter Yuki? Come on. Shoot me.” The Man said out loud. “You know you want too.”

‘Tons of children are counting on you Yuki.’ He thought to himself. ‘Just let go.’ He focused all his energy into this one shot. The lock Samuel had on him was no match. Yuki broke free of it and let the arrow fly. It pierced the Target in the shoulder.

The man put his hand up to his shoulder. Feeling the dark blood that now spilled from his body. He started laughing. “Better then I thought you would be.” He giggled. “But Not good enough. Lets see you stop this one, Lover boy.”

He Flicked his wrist towards the direction of The wind Caster. A dagger shot out of the holster concealed within his cuff lings. Sora managed to Deflect the Dagger, with the power of the wind, just enough so it wouldn’t hit anything major, and caught it in the left arm. “Aww,” Samuel Mocked. “Not fast enough, Chasey baby would be very disappointed in you Yuki. If you can’t protect your own Teammates, how are you going to protect your lover.”

Yuki had just about enough of this, His anger Consumed him. Yuki dove for the Target, As the target used his Telekinetic Abilities, to Throw Sora back against the door. Making Sora hit His Head hard enough to knock him out cold. Tracey Ran towards His bestfriend. ‘Sora!’ Sam smirked. And Flicked his wrist again. Two more daggers shot out towards Tracey. It happened so fast. Yuki watched Tracey fall Lifeless on top of Sora as The daggers entered his back and through his heart.

Yuki’s Rage took over. He Jumped On Sam. Himself getting a Dagger in the side. ‘Jason! Check on Trace!’ he yelled at his two other comrades Telepathically. ‘Kim, As soon as I get a hold of him. KILL us.’

‘What?’ She thought. Kill a member of Iyada. Yuki had gotten a hold of Sam and had him in a Headlock.

“DO IT!”

Kim didn’t hesitated. She conjured up her biggest, hottest flames. Samuel’s screams filled the air as the flames engulfed them, They turned to ashes almost immediately.

Yuki remained in the shadows as he watched his comrades below swoon over Tracey and Sora. He watched in the shadows. He saw Tracey’s eye’s, which were so bright and full of life, Cold. A tear ran down his face. It wasn’t a daydream. ‘I could’ve stopped it.’ He thought. ‘Why didn’t I stop it? How could I have been so blind.’ Yuki closed his eyes. His thoughts went fuzzy for a second. He felt as thought he had been torn apart. He had done it again. He had a precognition and passed it off as a daydream. He lost two people cause of that now.

“Tracey…” He heard Sora’s voice call. “Trace, I’m sorry. I promised I wouldn’t do this… But I cant live without you. It hurts. I’m coming Trace…” Yuki Opened his eyes. He was now in Tracey’s bedroom. Sora was sitting on the bed. His hands on his head, Blood draining down his arms. Yuki turned away from the sight. He didn’t want to see anymore. He can’t watch this again. It was hard enough the first six times. He doesn’t need to see it again.

Tracey watch in horror as did Yuki.

“Do you see it now? You see why I had too.” Yuki yelled at Esper. “You really think I could LET that happen. You really think I should’ve let you gone now.”

“You could’ve shown me before hand.”

“Before hand? Before hand? You wouldn’t pay attention before hand, I tried that Tracey, I tried, but you wouldn’t listen to me. You never would’ve...” Yuki’s voice trailed off. He winced in pain as a vision pierced his mind. Tracey’s focus returned to the sky as Yuki’s vision played on it like a screen.

“Yuki, oh, Yuki.” A man’s voice said. “I know you can hear me Yuki. I have someone here with me, I think he wants to see you.” The man stepped into view.

”Travis!” Yuki and Tracey said in unison.

“Ah, so you can hear me.” The man chuckled.

“If you don’t want what happened to Chris to happen to young Travis here, you will come to The place where you last saw your precious Christopher.” The man Laughed as the vision dissipated.

Yuki stood up and gaze at the sky.

“We need to get out now.” Yuki said. “Travis is in more danger then it appears.”

Yuki focused again. A whirl of energy surround them both, as they left the astral plain.

Yuki opened his eyes to see Evermore standing over him, Chase sat on the side of his bed and Sora, sitting on the chair. Yuki shot up.

“Yuki, you should rest,” Chase said as he went to force the green haired boy down.

“Now, is not the time for rest. Trace, we need to go, now.”

“Agreed.” Tracey nodded.

“Sora, Chase, you stay here. Ev, you better too, They might come for Chase, and Sora, and I need you to protect them.” Yuki said as he got up and Grabbed his Trench coat from the chair. Then focused his energy to get his Bow and Quiver from his dad’s house. In through the window they flew right into Yuki’s hands. He grabbed his revolver from the side of the bed.

”Trace, got everything?” He asked as he approached the door.

“Yep.”

”Lets move.” He said as they headed out.

* *

Yuki and Tracey, quickly, and quietly, moved up the side of a building near the edge of town. The weather has taken a turn for the worse and began to typhoon. Winds shook them violently from their path as they tried to circle around the back.

They broke out of their formation as they came around back, Trace stay behind the side of the building as Yuki walked around, to face his adversary. Yuki sensed they were there, and heard the muffled sounds of someone trying to speak.

“Ah, Yuki, You made it.” Said the man.

“Sterling…” Yuki said, as he finally remembered his name.

“Ah, so you do remember me. I am surprised to hear this.”

“Let the boy go Sterling.” Yuki said, with rage in his voice.

“Still quite demanding aren’t we. That is not part of our deal Yuki. I am to Kill you, and the boy. My boss really doesn’t appreciate your coming back here.” The man took a step forward, as the gale pushed him back. Rain beat down on Yuki quite fiercely. Yuki cleared his mind, and focused on the man, who was reaching for his gun. The gun left its holster as the man tried to grab it. Yuki reached out and grabbed the Glock.

“Still playing tricks are we?” The man chuckled again. “Any more moves like this and Demetry here, kills the boy.” He laughed again as a huge Man stepped out of the shadows. The big man smiled, with a look of satisfaction on his face.

“Fine, No more tricks.” Yuki said with a smile. “Tell me one thing Sterling, Why has your boss resorted to using Mind controlling chips on his subjects?”

Demetry grunted, Yuki stare at the big man, a whirling light seen through his hair.

Sterling took a step forward, facing Yuki, his shoulders high. The moon shined off his black leather trench coat, and the Glock concealed within it.

Yuki sensed Tracey’s movement around the side of the building, searching for away to get Travis away before any fighting happens.

“You want to fight Sterling?” Yuki smiled. “Lets fight.”

With that the dark man charged at Yuki, full force, aiming for his solarplex. Yuki dived down before the man hit and returned the favor, by flipping around and kicking him in with equal force in the throat.

Sterling choked and sputtered, as he knelt down to regain his breath. Yuki went to kick him again, in the face. Sterling grabbed for Yuki’s foot to stop him, Yuki spun around and used his other foot to kick him in the side of the face. Sterling released his grip and got up from his spot. Yuki took a quick glance behind him and saw Tracey had Travis and was taking him out of danger. He watched as Demetry turned and Raised his gun at Travis. Yuki took the Glock that was still in his hand and raised it to Demetry’s temple and fired. The hit the mind control device and snapped in half before the bullet ricocheted off and hit the wall. Demetry fell to the ground.

“Smooth move Kiddo.” Sterling said. Yuki regained his attention to him, Sterling has the other Glock out, pointing it at Yuki’s chest.

”Another trick of yours. very clever. Games over.” Sterling lowered the gun to set it.

Yuki heard a bang coming from above him. He watched as Sterling fell to the ground. Yuki then looked up.

“Sora?” Yuki said in disbelief. “Nice shooting.”

Sora smiled as he jumped down from the roof and ran to Travis.

Yuki knelt over the Body of Sterling.

”Died on impact… That is some nice shooting.” He look in disbelief. He walked over to Demetry. With the device shattered, Yuki could now sense the man’s feelings. Demetry’s eyes flutter open, he gazed up and the small boy in front of him.

“Demetry. You can go home now.” Yuki said quite calmly. The man shook at the sight of Sterling’s body in front of him. He got up, removed all the weapons from his body and left.

Yuki turned and face Tracey who has Travis tightly in his arms, and Sora bent over them to make sure they’re alright. Yuki walked up to them, a feeling of avengeance and relived that no more harm will come to anyone in the form of Sterling.

“Travis, Lets go home.” He said as the little boy got up and wrapped his small arms around his leg. The Group returned to Jason’s home to the relieved father.

Satisfied that Tracey and Yuki’s past misunderstanding was behind them, they both swore to each other, never pre-judge without a getting the facts.

Yuki, Tracey, And Sora stare up into the night sky, a gleam of Hope glint in their eyes.
