As you can probably guess, the "Pocket Bishonen" idea originated from the insanely popular Pokemon craze that engulfed the nation a few years back. The term "Bishonen" basically means beautiful boy and is often used on websites to describe the seemingly flawless male characters featured in anime. The clever and very kawaii concept of the "Pocket Bishonen" website became pretty popular among fan girls on the web, and later a "Pocket Bishojo" section was added to the site in order to appeal to even more web surfers.
To "catch" a bishonen, you had to answer 3 questions about them. Depending on how familiar you were with their anime series, the questions could be considered easy or hard. It was actually pretty addicting...^-^
*sigh* Unfortunately, as with all good things, the bishonen catching came to a end when the site closed down indefinitely. But it's legacy lives on! ^_~
