| Week two, 15.1.2002. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| I lost 1 kg!!! 63.4kg. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Woohoo! I have to say, first up, sorry I didn't leave enough room for an entry for every day of the week, last week! Tuesday: Walked to ww this morning with bubs. This takes about 40 minutes, so it was a good start to the day, and a good finish to week 1. Was so thrilled with my loss, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face! Tried to sit in meeting, but could tell Harmony was going to be a little too exuberant. Have decided I don't want a facial for my 1st mini-goal reward, I want new work-out gear!! Here are my week's goals: to lose another kilo. Every day, to walk briskly for 30 minutes and jog for 5. Thrice weekly, to do 20 minutes of toning exercises. To eat 18 points a day. To have a beautiful, low-point dessert every evening from Friday-Monday. (This is when I start to get stroppy and want 'bad' things) Hope everyone's doing well, have been amazed by your responses!! Wednesday: What a great day! Loads of rain, but I somehow managed to fit in a walk and jog, as per my goal. Was surprised I felt like continuing running after my 5 minutes, so kept going for another 2. Usually, I the first minute kills me and I have to keep stopping, but I didn't stop once, how cool is that? I've also stayed in 18 points today and yesterday. Really thrilled with how I'm feeling. I feel more spring in my step, my skin's looking clearer and Nigel and I both believe my arse and legs feel a lot harder. If I stick with it, things can only get better! Thursday: Another good day! Went for my 30 minute walk in the morning, then slept as I got a migraine later (thank God for my well-behaved daughter and mersyndol day strength!), and luckily Harmony was due for one as well. Ate within 18 points today, and in the evening, went for my jog. That 5 minute goal is getting so easy now, it's awesome! So, I kept going for another minute, but at a much harder pace, so hopefully that'll help me increase my fitness. Was also thrilled that Nigel came home early today, so we had more time together as a family. Did my weights for 20 minutes today, one set of 12 reps for each muscle group, and on my gym ball, I did 20 reps for each of the 3 groups in the abs. No doubt my muscles will be sore tomorrow, my legs have been feeling the effects of my jogging, it's so encouraging! Friday: Not much to tell, had 2 rotten migraines, so I had to have a rest day... I know I set exercise goals, but illness doesn't care about goals! Had to use my bonus points from exercise (hungry jacks), and although it was a goal not to, still stayed within my limits :) Like I said, had to take it easy today. I hope these migraines piss off, soon... Saturday: Ate a little over my 18 points, but kept within my bonus exercise points. Was dissappointed not to be able to get my jog, but at least I got my walk. Nigel got home too late from work :( Got another migraine today, would you believe? It's really getting me down, and I feel ripped off, as I'm looking after myself the best I can! Oh well, hopefully they'll blow over soon, they usually do. I guess it's natural to have shitty weeks, huh? Sunday: Still not having the best time, feel bad that all I've done this week is whinge to you poor buggers! ANOTHER migraine...Tried to eat well, but didn't exercise. I can't afford to push myself while I'm in this state. Hopefully, better news tomorrow... Monday: Another migraine, and a very frustrated girl who overate in despair...Dreading the scales... |
