Sonnet

Agony pierces through mine heart and soul.
Treacherous Disloyalty wounds quite deep,
Pains to know of purity black as coal,
And blood is blue, not red of fire, I weep;

A promise kept me safe, then was stolen.
So I am slain and no one is knowing,
Betrayal found my heart to wound, weaken;
I lie and listen to the darkness weeping,

And stillness overtakes me. My mind screams.
I know not who I am, I know nothing.
He took me all except my lasting dreams,
And I wish I never knew his wanting,

I am done with him all and forever;
And so now I end with one last shiver.
