In time when dissatisfaction is almost tangible, many young people have chosen to remain quiet voicing their complaints inside their homes or in the confines of their office cubicles, few have taken to the streets in protest demanding from the government, and even fewer have chosen to come together and take action themselves.
To this last group, the Young Professionals' Movement for Community Service (YUPPIES MOVE), Inc. belong. The members believe that the young have as much responsibility in building the nation. And with the idealism and all still intact, this is the best time for the youth to answer the call.
VISION. The Movement envisions itself as partner in community service and in promoting the welfare of the Young Professionals, with socially-aware members who are responsible in providing continuous and voluntary response to the call of sharing their time, talents and resources for the marginalized sectors of the society with emphasis on educational development and environmental protection.
MISSION. Call, unite and mobilize the Young Professionals of Quezon Province and the City of Lucena for them to share their time, talents and resources to the society, guided by the ideals of volunteerism, social justice, authentic humanism and the genuine concept of community service.
