This time around, the party's helping Rakuul to bring the weapon "Rakuul Hope" to the cape to fend off the monsters, but are attacked by monsters, and encounter a man named Daruku (Dai Matsumoto) who is controlling the monsters. While they fight, Crawd tells Rena to take Leon to safety, but when she tries, he refuses. "I'm going to fight, too!" He casts Acid Rain, and when the Daruku flees, he takes off after him. Leon searches for Daruku, and when he hears rustling in the bushes, prepares to fight, but there's a girl there. When he tries to help the girl, Daruku appears, but Leon casts Black Saber, injuring him. Daruku flees, and he looks at the girl, but the girl's injured, too. Crawd and the others are searching for him, and they tend to the girl. Celine tells them that it's apparent that Daruku has a demon stone, but Leon doesn't care. "I have my magic." It's dinner time =^^= Itadakima~s  But Gyoro and Ururun finish
off Ashton's meal. At dinner, it's obvious that Kokoru likes Leon
and wants to be his friend, but he leaves. She follows, "Leon, do
you want to eat together?" She catches him and offers him some food,
but as he eats, he sees that she's just staring at him. "Aren't you
going to eat?" But all she wants to know is: "Leon, do you like me?"
Thrown off by the question, he hesitates. "Do you hate me?" "...No,
that is..." "Which?" ...
She later asks Leon if he has any friends, and he laughs and says he has many... 101 friends, he tells her. This impresses her, and she says she likes Leon best. "Leon, da~i suki!" The party's having fun talking with one another, especially Celine, who's teasing Ashton for being such a coward. But their fun's interrupted when Kokoru says "He's here," and people are attacked by Thunder Bolt. As they fight, Kokoru runs off, and Leon follows. When he finds her, Daruku finds them. This time, when Leon casts Black Saber, Daruku casts Protection and attacks, but Kokoru protects Leon. "Daruku! Don't hurt Leon! Leon's my friend!" Daruku stops his attack and orders Kokoru to move, but she refuses. Leon then casts Shadow Bolt as the party arrives, and Crawd follows up with Kuuhazan. Daruku flees again, but they see that Kokoru's been injured. As Rena heals her wounds, they notice that Kokoru has the same injuries as Daruku. Ashton, with Gyoro and Ururun's help commune with Kokoru's soul, and finds that Kokoru and Daruku are the same person. The demon stone split their souls so that Kokoru is the good half and Daruku is the evil half. They're the same person, so if Daruku dies, so does Kokoru. But Leon tells Kokoru to not worry, that he'll protect her. That night, at dinner, Kokoru disappears, and the party sets out to find her. Leon finds her, but when they want to take her back, she refuses. She says she can't go with them because she and Daruku are the same person, and Daruku and Leon are enemies, so she can't go with them because as long as she's with them, Daruku will keep coming, and she doesn't want them to get hurt. Leon calls her an idiot because they're friends and there's no way he'd leave her alone. When they convince her to go, Daruku appears. Crawd fights with Daruku, and he tells Leon to take Kokoru some place safe. But what can they do? If they injure Daruku, they'll injure Kokoru, too. Daruku summons a spider monster to hold the party with its web, as he follows Leon and Kokoru. Daruku finds them and casts Ice Needle against Leon. He tells Kokoru to come, but she doesn't want to leave Leon. Leon picks up a blade and attacks Daruku, but Kokoru is also injured. He tells her to run, but she refuses. Daruku knocks the blade from Leon and begins to strangle him, but Kokoru picks up Leon's sword and tells Daruku to let Leon go. Daruku laughs at Kokoru, because she'll also get hurt, but Kokoru plunges the sword into her own chest. "I want to help Leon. If Kokoru dies, so does Daruku!" And she drives the sword deeper into her chest. Leon's shocked and approaches her. "Don't come any closer! Leon's Kokoru's best friend... I want to protect Leon." He goes to her side, and watches her as she bleeds to death. She thanks Leon for being her friend and making her last few hours so happy. When she finally dies, so does Daruku, and the demon stone appears. Angry that Kokoru's death was all its fault, he shatters it. The spider monster weakens, and the rest of the party wonders why. Ashton says it's because Daruku's dead, and the monster's power is weakened. That means that Kokoru's also dead, and everyone is shocked and saddened... Or angry? Crawd does a kick-ass Kuuhazan that destroys the monster. They travel onward, all in shock over Kokoru's death. It must be especially hard on Leon, but Leon says he isn't sad... But then breaks down in tears. Precis goes to Bowman and asks him to give him some sort of herb. "What for?" "Heheh... nothing "
"I'm Precis F. Neuman! The most intelligent inventor girl in Ringa!" She misses Crawd and the party, after all, they did help cure her friend Elanore. She fantasizes that Crawd and Rena split up and Crawd comes back to her, so she decides to go to read up on what she can do to win him over, and she finds out about the herb. She runs over to Bowman and asks him for the herb, but he says no, so she tricks him. "Kya! There's a roach on your head?" "What? A roach? Where? Where?!" But while he's distracted, she snatches the herb and bolts. At home, she reads a bit more, but as she's working on the herb, she notices the book mentioning a spell. "Spell? ...Ah, this isn't an invention book, it's a spell book!  " Wait a minute, she's Ringa's
best girl inventor! She can just MAKE a Crawd substitute!
A while later, she finishes her "Crawd-2Go" (Crawd #2) robot, and turns it on (so to speak). It turns on and steams "pu-ri-shi-su a-i-shi-te-ru" ("I love you, Precis" in a mechanical voice) She's so elated, she starts making out with the robot Just then, Bowman comes in, demanding she return the herb.
"Eh... What are you doing?"
"Eh... Ah... Nothing! Nothing!" Just then, Crawd-2Go begins to overheat, repeating "pu-ri-shi-su a-i-shi-te-ru" over and over
until it finally blows up
"I'm Precis F. Neuman, the most intelligent inventor girl in Ringa!" Just to let you know, after repeating listenings to this CD drama, I'm still not sure if Kokoru's a boy or girl. Most likely, he's a boy, but I like it better if he's a she =^^= It just sounds cuter with Leon =^^= Te-heh, this time, the seiyuu after-recording theme's about friendship, and believe me, they have some pretty strange anecdotes =^^= Of course The after-recording this time's very long, over
10min, in fact, as opposed to the omake drama's 7 1/2min. But if you
like seiyuu, it's no problem =^^=
And speaking about seiyuu, the cast listing for this one's incredible =^^= There's Leon's seiyuu, Kanako Mitsuhashi, who does Killua (Hunter x Hunter). Bowman's seiyuu Yasunori Matsumoto does Gourry (Slayers) and Alfred (Arc the Lad II ~Hono'o no Elc~ CD drama). Kokoru's seiyuu Yuri Shiratori does Angelique Limoges (Angelique) and Cherry (Saber Marionette J to X). Daruku's seiyuu Dai Matsumoto... well, the only role I can give is as an airport attendant on Arc the Lad II ~Hono'o no Elc~... But at least I recognized the voice =--= *fun* |
