Morty Black was born on August 12, 1960. He is 183cm tall and weighs 70kg. His real name is Morten Skaget but he's known as Morty Black. He started playing the bass when he was 16 and became a session musician before he joined TNT. He's not a flashy player like Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) nor a technical player like John Myung (Dream Theater), but he is a very solid bass player. I won't mention about his singing ability, hehe :) He mainly uses the legendary Spector Basses and Ampeg Amplifiers. He also uses Listerud Basses which are handmade by Lars Listerud's dad.
