This is TNT's latest album "Transistor". Japanese version comes with a bonus track called "Free Again" while the rest of the world gets "Just Like God" as a bonus track. This album is VERY DIFFERENT in my opinion. Songs are shorter, and this album might not satisfy Tekro wannabes because you hear chord strokes most of the time instead of cool riffs like in "Caught Between The Tigers". Also, machine gunning is used on only a few tracks. I guess Ronni wanted to make songs sound better instead of pursuing new techniques on guitars. There are all kinds of different music styles in this album : pop, rock, punk, metal, etc. This is NOT classical TNT like Tell No Tales or Intuition. It's more like a mixture of "Firefly2" and "Extra Strong String2 with Tony on vocals". It might take a few listens for you to get used to it, but it started growing on me really quick when I realized that all songs are melodic/catchy and only TNT could write them. Whatever TNT do, they sound like TNT :)

Yutaka's Favorites
Chorus part of Just Like God is so cool. Wide Awake is very pop and I like it a lot. No Such Thing has a good chorus part. The Whole You're Inn is the heaviest track on the album and I was surprised to hear the 'metal' side of Tony's vocals. Mousetrap has cool backing guitars and solo is short but good. It doesn't sound like TNT<, but Into Pieces has a very good melody. Under My Pillow is a beautiful ballad with a special guest - MB Norman (Ronni's cousin).
