N'Sync in Episode 2

I consider having N'Sync members having cameos in Episode 2 as Jedi Knights has got to be one of the dumbest stunts EVER considered by George Lucas.  I am having trouble seeing why he did this.  Thank God there is still speculation floating around.  If this was definite, I think I would scream, and protest outside Skywalker Ranch.

Think of it this way.  Star Wars fans are an elite sect of people.  Sure our socials lives may be lacking, but at least we re not screaming little 12 year old girls on the brink of a nervous breakdown if their love-idol (a.k.a. N'Sync) so much as looks at them.  I swear to god the only reason Lucas is doing this is for the extra money that will be racked in.  Scores of pre-teen girls will flock to see Episode 2 just to see N'Sync members for 3 seconds.

I think it would be awesome if Episode 2 broke all film records, but for god's sake, having a boy band corrupt the integrity of the  movie is not worth it.  If I didn't so desperately want to see Episode 2, I would be out on the parking lot protesting N'Sync's existence. I will see Episode 2.  Many times over even.  George--Isn't your Star Wars fan's money enough for you?  Why take from these naive girls?  They don't give a damned for the movie--just their heart throbs.  If they ruin the movie in anyway, I swear to god, I will protest.

God...um...Yoda, Please don't let this happen.  Please tell me George Lucas, and all those damned Lucasfilm reps were only kidding.
