To become a Jedi Knight, you must pass the trials. When your Jedi Master feels you are ready, they will inform the Jedi Council. If they feel you are ready, they will e-mail you the first part of the Trials, an endurance test of random Star Wars trivia. If you pass with 80% accuracy, via e-mail, you will recieve information about the final task of the trials: an on-line scavenger hunt of Star Wars pictures. If you pass the first part, the second will be e-mailed to you. If you pass this, you will recieve the rank of Jedi Knight.
