Der Anfang der Geschichte ist nicht von mir, aber ich habe versucht den Autor zu benachrichtigen, dass ich die Geschichte veröffentlichen möchte (in meiner Version). Leider konnte ich nicht die richtige E-Mail Adresse herausfinden und hoffe, dass sich jetzt niemand hintergangen fühlt.
Ich habe die Namen in der Geschichte geändert. Falls jemand Anregungen hat, wie es weitergehen könnte, bitte schreibt mir!! Es existiert zwar schon der nächst Teil, aber vielleicht kann ich ja noch was dazu schreiben! Also dann viel Spass.

(Diese Geschichte ist wie immer reine Fiktion und ich habe keinerlei Kontakt zu irgendeinem Mitglied der Familie. Ich hoffe, dass hier nichts steht, woran sich jemand stört. Wenn doch- bitte ebenfalls bei mir melden!! Danke)

It was Friday morning. Ann was working by herself in the café. It was midmorning so it would be slow for a few more hours. Today was Farmer's Market day. Around the corner the streets were lined with stands of fruits, vegetables and flowers. Ann was reading her assignment for her Shakespeare class. Ann was dressed in long black pants and a dark turtleneck. Her bright red hair was laying all over the place. Ann never had calm hair, because she had a habit of running her hands through her hair when she was thinking or anytime. She had her reading glasses on. This was prime studying time, finals are coming. The little bell on the door jingled and in walked Professor Thomas "Good day Ann! What's the coffee brew today?" Ann read off some of the names. She didn't notice at first, the other group that entered. "I'll have the Java Jive coffee." said Professor Thomas. The students nodded in agreement. Ann warmed up the coffee machine and turned on the Counting Crows CD. Ann hummed along. "All right, here you go!" Ann said. "Thanks! I see you are hard at studying?". Ann laughed: "Oh yeah. I'm reading through Titus Andronicus!". "That's bloody!" Professor Thomas said. "It's fascinating!" Ann contradicted. The group went to a table and sat down. Ann noticed the three people that had entered only a moment ago sitting at a booth off the side. She saw one of them walking towards the counter. When he approached, she asked: "Hello, what can I get you?". He smiled. Ann thought: "Oh my god! I know who he is! He is Paddy Kelly , one of the members of like the most famous band in Europe!!! What is he doing in Los Angeles???" He spoke softly with a charming accent: "Yes, can I get a cup of coffee, a lemonade and what tea do you have?" Ann answered: "Oh, well...we are low on tea today. We get a shipment in tomorrow. But, I do have Early Grey, Green, Lemon and Mango." He looked her in the eye with the most gorgeous dark blue eyes, his long hair was in a binder. "Mango?" Ann nodded: "Yep, it's unusual but actually very good!". He nodded: "Okay, a small pot of that also." Ann set to work. Professor Thomas came up and leaned over the counter to grab a saucer. "Hey Ann! I am stealing one of your plates!" "Okay!" Ann replied. Prof. Thomas chatted with her: "I remember something from Titus Andronicus, you should read it aloud." Ann: "Thank's, I'll give it a go." While the machine was humming Ann set on the counter a pot of tea and the glass of lemonade. She asked Paddy: "Is it still windy outside?". The guy looked up "Yeah, but it feels warm.". Ann nodded and brought over the kettle and thought "Okay, now I need to be suave to let him know, I know who he is". Ann decided to just say: "Hey! I know who you are!!! I could kick myself for not recognizing you sooner!!!" Ann thought: "I must be blushing." "You are one of the Kelly Family." He smiled "You know who we are?" Ann scoffed "I love your music! Hold on!". She ran to the backroom and came back with the Kelly's CD Almost Heaven. "See? It is great to meet you!" Ann said. Paddy laughed: "Do you want to com eand meet some more?" "Oh yeah, I would love to." Ann answered. He led her over to the table. "This is my sister Maite and my brother Angelo. She's a fan." Paddy said and Ann nodded. "Yes, I am! I am Ann Witter." Maite said: "Do you want to join us?" Ann thought: "Should I? Well,it's dead quiet in here." Ann nodded and pulled a chair up to the table. Ann asked: "So, how did you all end up in LA?" Ann thought: "Great! That sounded very stupid!" Paddy answered: "We're doing a concert here." Ann: "Let me guess, you are playing at the Irish Music Festival? I knew it, it's a big thing around here. It only comes every five years. You have to be over 18 to get into it. I had to sneak in last time it came! I can't wait." Maite said: "We're excited to play here. It is nice playing in this festival, because we get a lot of time off." "Oh yeah, good for you!" Ann said. The bell jangled on the door, signaling, someone entered. Ann turned around. There stood her younger cousin, Lynn. She was looking sheepish with a bouquet of flowers from the street market. Ann said to the Kellys : "Excuse me." She stood up and looked at Lynn "Lynn! What are you doing here so early?" Lynn stepped closer and said: "I brought you your favorite flowers." Ann narrowed her eyes "You should be in school!" Lynn gave her a fearful smile. Ann groaned: "What did you do this time?" Lynn answered: "Well, today the science teacher decided it should be `dissection day`" Ann asked again: "What did you do?" Lynn said: "I protested a little." Ann asked her: "How many people were involved?" Lynn noticed a few people sitting near Ann. She whispered: "10!" Ann smacked her forehead "Lynn! I know you want to show your rights, but you can't keep disrupting school!" Lynn said: "They were stupid!! They wanted you to pick out a rat and kill one!!!" Lynn nodded. Ann said: "God! What monsters! Well, we'll see what we can do." Lynn ran over and hugged Ann. She noticed a very handsome blonde, sitting in the booth behind Ann. Ann noticed her looking. "Lynn, these are some members of the Kelly Family." Lynn had a blank look on her face for a moment. Then she said: "Oh! The music group?! How cool!". She kept slyly glancing at the blonde. She ran her hand through her short, dark, curly hair. Ann said: "This is my little cousin, Lynn. Her and her sister and I own the café. Lynn, This is Paddy, Maite and Angelo." Lynn murmured: "Hello!". Ann turned towards Lynn and asked: "How long are you suspended for?" Lynn groaned: "Two weeks!" Ann said: "Well, you can get a lot done around here in between your studies." Lynn groaned again. Ann: "Go, put your peace offering in a vase and then you can clean behind the counter!" Lynn smacked her forehead and then she said to the Kellys: "It was nice meeting you." Ann laughed. Lynn decided to be bold and said to the Kellys before she left: "You all should come back tonight for the music. It's going to be great! Well,..." She was cut off by the look, Ann gave her. "Okay, okay, I am going!" Ann turned back to the Kellys. Maite asked: "You own this place?" Ann replied: "Yeah, we bought it a year ago and changed it." Angelo asked: " Are you the oldest?" Ann: "Oh no. Lynn is 17, I am 21 and Kaja is 28... she's the true adult. We all live in the apartment above." Paddy said: "That's cool!" Maite asked: "You have live music here?" Ann blushed "It all started, when we played here to raise extra cash. Now we hold small concerts here, all different types. Tonight is Jazz music." Maite: "Wow, what time is that?" Ann said: "It starts at 9 PM." Ann looked at her watch and said to herself: "Where's Kaja?!?!" Just in that moment, Kaja ran through the door. Kaja looked a lot like Lynn. They had the same dark hair and eyes. She headed straight to Ann and said: "I am sorry. The meeting ran late!" Ann said: "That's okay. I'll just grab my books and run" Kaja looked at the Kellys, sitting there "Hey! Aren't they...?" Ann said: "Yeah Kaja, meet Paddy, Maite and Angelo... 3 of the Kelly Family."! She waved her hand dramatically and said: "This is the eldest cousin, Kaja. Now, I have to get ready to go." She left to the backroom to collect her books. She came back a few moments later "It was so great to meet you! I hope maybe I'll see you around1 I know for sure, I will see you at the festival!" She waved and started out the door. Kaja yelled out to her: "Hey Ann! Do you want the car?" Ann yelled back: "No! I'll take the bus. I only have one class and then I'll be back." Kaja yelled: "Have fun!" Ann stuck out her tongue and left. Lynn popped around the corner and said: "Hey Kaja!" she smiled. Kaja said: "Oh, no! Lynn... how long are you suspended for ?" Lynn said: "Two weeks! But Ann agreed with what I did this time." Professor Thomas came up and said: "Hey, I heard the whole thing! More power to you Lynn!" Kaja swatted at him and said: "Don't encourage her!" Professor Thomas laughed and said: "It seems to me that I remember hearing stories of you and Ann doing battle in your time with school." Kaja: "It was different then. I didn't have to prove anything to any one then, like we have to now." Lynn said: "Kaja, I have been cleaning forever!" Professor Thomas and the Kellys laughed at her lie. Lynn gave them all dirty looks. She asked Kaja: "Can I take a break?" Kaja nodded: "Just watch the counter. I am going back to inventory." Lynn nodded. She headed over to the Kellys. "Hello! Do you mind if I bother you?" They nodded and Lynn sat down. She said: "It's cool to see you in person. Ann plays your music a lot." Lynn rolled her eyes and said: "I am surprised, she even went to class." Maite asked: "What is she studying?" Lynn shrugged "She's taking a bit of everything. Mostly art though." Lynn kept glancing at Angelo, trying to be cool about it.- I love his hair, eyes and voice-She blushed just thinking about it. Lynn said: "It must be cool travelling all around the world. Is the whole family there?" Paddy answered: "Yeah, we each do our own things when we are on vacation." Lynn said: "There four of us cousins and our aim is not to spend time together." Angelo asked: "There is another one?" Lynn : "Oh yes! There is Patrick. He doesn't live here, but he helps with the café. He is studying Law at the University. He's 24 and thinks he's a genius." Maite laughed , understanding. Lynn: "So what have you seen around here?" Maite: "Not much. We just arrived last night." Lynn said: "Well, you must see Navy Pier, if you like shopping and amusement parks." Maite asked: "What is that?" Lynn answered: "It is only the coolest place here! It has shops, plays, rides, games and such." Maite said: "It sounds like heaven! I have to go there!" Paddy laughed and asked: "What else is there to do?" Lynn looked at him thinking- "He's cute, but not like Angelo. Oh! Paddy is the one Ann had a crush on!" She said: "Ooh, well... if you are into music, I mean different music and such, Ann knows all these cool clubs and museums." Angelo asked her: "What do you like around here?" Lynn blushed: "Ooh, my faves are the concerts in the park and hanging in the shopping district." Lynn sat with them a little longer and then she said: "I suppose I should leave you alone to relax. I need to start on my homework." Maite said: "You're not bothering us. It's great talking with you." Lynn smiled "Well, first thing is first. I am going to change out of this horrible uniform. Will you all be here for a few minutes?" They nodded. Lynn said: "Cool. I'll bring some tourist brochures down." She went upstairs. Kaja came in and asked the Kellys: "Hey, can I get you anything?" Maite replied: "I'll have another lemonade, please!?" Kaja brought Maites drink. "Here you go. I think this is amazing you all..." She stopped for a moment and then she said: "Now, I'll stop rambling." They laughed. Professor Thomas said: " Hey, Kaja! I am heading out." Kaja asked: "Are you taking your flunkies with you?" He laughed "Yeah, yeah. Have fun tonight. I can 't come, but I expect a full report." Kaja nodded. Professor Thomas left. Maite asked: "What exactly is tonight?" Kaja answered: "We're having a band come in, a Jazz band. It's fun. People get into it. We clear the tables back and people can dance." The phone rang. Kaja said: "Excuse me!" and she went to the phone "Hep Cat and Canary 's café?!" Lynn came running down the steps. She had old jeans on and a sweater. Kaja called to her: "Hey, Lynn, phone!" Lynn ran to the phone and had a short conversation. She hung up the phone and said to Kaja: "That was the menu designer. I'll get everything in two weeks." "Great!" Kaja said. Lynn dropped off the brochures at the table and said: "I am going to go out and sweep the walk and water the flowers. It's too nice to be inside today." She waved at the Kellys. Kaja said: "She's so great. We let her take over the menu design. Patrick was leery at first, because of her age, but she really proved herself. You must get that... no respect, because of her age." Angelo said: "I used to, but now it's okay." Paddy said: "Yeah! It's better, since we have older members." Kaja said: 2Ann went through that, when we first opened this place. No one would trust her. She had to use my name. Finally she proved herself in the community. I must be boring you guys completely." Maite said: "Oh, no! It's great talking with people." Kaja smiled.

Patrick walked in the door. He also had the same coloring of Kaja and Lynn. Kaja asked: "Patrick???" Patrick said: "Hello, there Kaj!" Kaja asked: "What are you doing here so early?" Patrick answered: "Just stopped for a free cup of coffee before my final!" Kaja screamed: "What! You stopped before your final?!" She looked at him. He looked awful. He wore dirty baggy pants and a discolored stretched black t- shirt. Kaja said: "Okay, come on. You only have a few minutes." Patrick yawned and followed her. Everyone heard a scream from outside and they heard Ann yell: "Ann will kill you. You little freak!!!" Ann stormed in the café with soggy, wet hair. She yelled outside: "I'll be right back girl and THIS IS WAR!!!" She stopped when she saw the Kellys sitting there and Patrick laying on the next booth and Kaja looking at her. She said: "Lynn just sprayed my head with the water hose." Everyone laughed. "I am going to kill her!" Angelo stood up and threw his cup away. He stood looking out of the window . Ann threw her bag behind the counter and grabbed a towel to dry her head. Patrick groaned from the booth and asked: "How was your class?" Ann said: "Fine. Boring. Patrick, shouldn't you be at the testing center?" Patrick: "I need nourishment and so here am I!" Ann said: "Good luck!" Angelo stepped through the door. A stream of water barely missed his head. He said: "Hey!" Lynn said: "Oh, my god! I am sorry. I thought you were Ann. I... oh... I am sorry!" He laughed "It's okay." Lynn said: "Oh, no! No, it's! I can't believe I did that. I feel bad." Angelo reached out and touched her arm- she felt electricity shot between them- He said: "Its okay. I promise. If you had hit me, I would just have to defend myself." He smiled. Lynn almost melted and said: "Yeah?" Angelo laughed "Its very beautiful out here." Lynn said: "Yeah! I love living in the city. At my school everyone asks, why would I like living in the city. I just do. It has much character." Angelo said: "I have spent much time in the country. That is where I like living." Lynn asked: 2It must be difficult, not having a steady home. Angelo answered: "We have a home in Germany where we spend a lot of time at. That is a true home. I think it would be harder without having the family to travel with." Lynn said: "As much as my family fights, I couldn't stand not having these guys." Angelo asked: "You live with them?" Lynn nodded: "My parents died last year. Kaja took me in. Ann found this place and we all started it together. Patrick helps also." Angelo said: "I am sorry about your parents." Lynn shrugged "Thank you:" They stood there in silence. Lynn said: "What you do is cool." Angelo: "Thank you!" Lynn gestured to the table chars set up. "Would you like to sit? Soon there is a trolley, that comes by. I love watching the tourists." Angelo said: "Sure!" Lynn was bursting. He didn't chose the chair across from her. He moved one next to her, so they were both looking out onto the street. Lynn was a nervous wrack. Normally, she didn't feel like that. She was always calm and mature, but not now. She felt stupid and klutzy and happy! Very happy! A moment of awkward silence passed. Lynn asked: "So, is your hotel around here?" Lynn hit her forehead and said: "You don't have to answer that!" Angelo laughed "It's okay. Yeah, we are at the Hyatt Hotel." Lynn said: "That's only a block away, only like two minutes. Cool!" Angelo asked: "So what exactly were you suspended for from school?" Lynn blushed and said: 2Well, I have been taught from the start, to pretest what I didn't believe in. I go to a stupid school. In Biology class, they wanted us to dissect animals. I am SO against that. We were supposed to kill alive rats! AH! I could have easily just not have done the project, but why did 30 other rats have to die? So, I staged a protest. A few others and me, stole the rats last night and brought them to some pet shops. The principle assumed it was me, I am not a quiet good student." She smiled and continued: "So, I am home bound for two weeks. I don't mind. Kaja and Ann help me with my studies. I just don't like school." She broke off, blushing. "Well, that is about it." Angelo said: "That was a great thing you did. My family and I are against that sort of thing." They shared a smile. Lynn said: "Hey look! Here comes the trolley." A horse pulled trolley, pulled up in front. Lynn said: "Hello Mr. Dobbs!" Mr. Dobbs said: "Lynn, my darling! How are you?" Lynn answered: "Good! Where is the tourist?" Mr. Dobbs said: "No tourist today. Someone rented the whole thing for the entire day, so we didn't need to take tourists around. But Felix (the horse) needed his exercise." Ann stepped through the door and asked: "Coffee, Mr. Dobbs?" he nodded. Ann came immediately back with a cup of coffee and some carrots for Felix. He was a huge, brown horse as gentle as a lamb. Lynn said: "I wish I had a horse!" Ann: "I know, maybe someday." Angelo said: "I love horses. We have some. But I don't get to spent as much as time as I want to with them." Lynn said: "Wow!" Ann said: "Goodbye, Mr. Dobbs!" She went in. Mr. Dobbs said: "Bye, Lynn... and friend!" He headed off. Ann looked at the two talking and went in. She shouted : "Patrick!!! You have to go! I can't drive your lazy butt there! Come on! This is your last final!" Patrick moaned: "Okay, okay, I am going! Bye! It was nice meeting you Kelly people. Maybe I will see you around." He left, stopping outside. "Bye Lynn... and... Angelo? Right?!" Angelo nodded. Lynn said: "Goodbye Patrick, you'll do fine at your test!" Patrick nodded and walked off. Angelo said: "That must be rough." Lynn said: "Yeah! That will be me soon. I think, I will like college better. How are you schooled?" Angelo said: "I had tutors, but no longer, I am 18 and so school is over for me." Lynn said: "That must have been interesting." Angelo: "I missed out on the school environment." Lynn said: "Not too much. But I am not cut out for high school." Angelo said: "At least you have your friends to get you through." Lynn shook her head "I have friends, but- well,... no one close. All I have are Ann Kaja and Patrick. But they are all I need. All I want." She smiled "Well, I guess duty calls. I need to finish sweeping." She yelled into the café: "Hey! Turn the music on out here!" She asked Angelo: "Do you like the Counting Crows?" Angelo shrugged "I don't know them." Lynn stood there gaping "What?! Oh, you poor, poor boy. The Counting Crows, are one of the few bands, we all agree on." Lynn put the broom down and said: "Okay Angelo. Sit here!" Lynn pulled up a chair from across him and started talking to him about music. Inside the café, Ann turned away from the window. She saw Paddy watching her. She blushed and walked over. She asked: "Hey there. Do you need some more tea?" Paddy said: "No, we have to be leaving soon. We are meeting the others." Ann: "Well, it was great meeting you!" Maite said: "It's not goodbye. We are staying about a minute away. We will probably be here everyday bothering you." Paddy nodded "Yeah, and we will try to come tonight." They stood up. Ann said to Maite: "If you can't find anyone to go to the Navy Pier with you, just give us a call." Maite hugged her and said: "It's a deal." They headed out. Lynn yanked back from Angelo, when she saw the others coming out of the café. "Hey!" Angelo stood up and frowned- Finally, I get close to someone and they interrupt!- Angelo asked: "Are we leaving?" Paddy said: "Yeah, we need to get back. It was great meeting you Lynn." Maite said: "Yeah, Lynn, you too. Maybe I'll see you around!" Angelo said: "Bye!" Lynn: "Oh, hold on!" She ran into the café and returned. She handed Angelo a CD of the Counting Crows. She said: "Here! If you get the chance to listen. I think you'll like them:" The Kellys walked off. Lynn stood there. Ann came up to her. "Hey, Lynn- You okay?!" Lynn: "Yeah!" Ann said: "I think you have a crush on Angelo!" Lynn said: "Oh yeah! You?" Ann laughed "I do think Paddy is cute!" Lynn said: "I wish I studied up the Kelly Family. If I knew, he was in the group, I would be a huge fan sooner." Ann laughed. The cousins walked into the café, to get ready for the concert that night. Each one hoping, the Kellys would really come.

( Till this point, it's not really my story, I took it from another HP and I hope, the writer doesn't mind. I've tried to contact her, but I couldn't. The original story is called "Galileo". So now have fun with my part!)

It was 8 PM, when Ann, Kaja and Lynn became nervous, because the Jazz Band was still not there and they wanted to arrive at 7 PM. But suddenly the door flew open and four men came in. Kaja asked: "Are you the musicians for tonight?" They nodded. They had no time left, so there was also no time for Kaja yelling at them. The four hurried to get ready for the gig and Lynn and Ann rushed to their rooms, to get dressed up. Kaja was already dressed, because the first people went into the café. Lynn asked Ann: "Do you think Kaja would mind, if I wear her black skirt tonight?" Ann said: "Why didn't you ask her, Dear, then you'd know!?" "I forgot!", Lynn answered, "but I want to look nice tonight, do you understand?" "Yes, I do." Ann said nervously. "Do you think, he will come?" "Who??" Ann asked, putting some make up on. "Well, ...Angelo!!" Lynn answered shy. "I hope", Ann answered, "if not, you'll get in trouble about the skirt in vain!" Lynn danced back into her room and finished dressing. Ann went down into the café, where the band was already playing. She started to help Kaja with the customers and she noticed Patrick who was bringing some drinks to a group of people. "Hey Patrick! What about your final?" she asked him. He turned around and looked at her with his biggest smile. He was looking so good with his wavy, black hair, those deep blue eyes and that cute smile. "I did it!" he laughed and wrapped his arms around Ann. He spun her around, till he noticed everybody was watching him. He set Ann down and blushed. "I am sorry, I just passed my final exam and so I am a bit excited!" Everybody clapped their hands and Patrick blushed again. Ten minutes later, a group of people entered the café. Ann's heart began to beat faster. She smiled at them and said: "Hi, welcome to our Jazz- Music- Evening!" Everybody said "Hi!" and Maite introduced Ann in the ones who hadn't been there before. "That's my brother Jimmy, that's Joey and Tanja and this guy is John. These are two of my sisters, Barby and Patricia, and that's my cousin Adam." "Hello, I am Ann." She said and shook their hands. She looked at Paddy and noticed that he was watching her. She blushed and looked at the floor. "The band is called Del Amitri, they're very good. May I bring you anything?" she stammered still blushing. Everybody wanted a coke, so she didn't had to remember too many different things. Ann was so nervous, that she was glad, remembering it were ten people- so ten cokes!! She brought the cokes to the Kellys and noticed, That Angelo was looking for somebody. "Oh... Lynn is still upstairs, but if she doesn't hurry, I'll kill her- so she'll come down soon!" Ann said to him. Angelo blushed and looked ashamed at his coke. But Paddy started to grin and as Angelo saw it, he kicked his shinbone. "Ahhh, you little...!" Paddy yelled at him. But he couldn't go on, 'cause Ann asked him to dance with her. This time at was Angelo, who was grinning. "Hey Patrick", Maite said as she saw him, "what about your final?" "Well,... I did it!" Patrick said proudly. "Congratulation!" Maite said. "Thank's" Patrick answered. The band started to play a slow song and the light was low. Angelo was a little upset, that Lynn wasn't there. But all of a sudden, she walked in. Angelo thought he was flying. "She looks like an angel." he thought. Jimmy also noticed the black haired girl, wearing a black skirt and a dark- red cardigan. He touched Angelo "Is it her?" But he didn't answer. "Hey!!" Jimmy shouted. "What's up?!" Angelo asked. "Is it her dreamy?" He blushed and nodded. As Lynn saw the Kellys, she went straight to them, but as she saw Angelo, she felt her lags like pudding. "Hello" she said and glanced at Angelo. "Hey", he said, "that's my family, that is Jimmy, Joey, Tanja, Barby, Patricia, John and Adam." "Hello, nice to meet you!" Lynn said. "Is Paddy not with you?" she asked. "Oh!", Jimmy said, "he is dancing with that girl... whatshername?" "Well, that must be Ann" Lynn said. "What was your name again?" Barby asked. "I'm Lynn" she said. "Hey guys, do you mind, if I leave to the hotel?" Patricia asked. "Are you okay?" Jimmy said worried. "Well, don't worry, my head you know!" "Okay, but I'll go with you, dear" "Okay let's go!" "Bye Lynn, it was nice meeting you and I hope you’ll have a lot of fun tonight!" she said to Lynn. "Bye, and good recovery to you." "Thank's" Patricia said and Jimmy and her left. Joey and Tanja started to dance and Barby and John also did. Adam looked for a woman who wanted to dance with him. So Angelo and Lynn sat alone at the table. "What do you think about the band?" Lynn asked. "I like it. I always listen to jazz music, so it's good anyway!" "I have to admit, I am a horrible dancer, you can ask Patrick as a proof!" Lynn said. "Me neither!" Angelo replied. So they decided to go for a walk around in the streets. They talked about everything and sat down at a bench, near the pier and watched the sea and the stars. Lynn began to freeze, so Angelo took off his jumper and Lynn put it on. "Hhmmm... he smells so good!!" Lynn thought. Suddenly, Angelo took her hand and Lynn felt as she would faint. They looked in each others eyes an dit seemed as it lasts for years... Lynn closed her eyes, like Angelo did, and she felt the world turning upside down. She noticed Angelo's hands at her cheeks and then his lips touched hers. It was like a flash, running through her body as they kissed long and deep. When they got off, Lynn's whole body shook and she felt as she would dream.
Paddy and Ann had stopped dancing and wanted to drink something, as somebody bumped into Paddy and he lost his drink- so his and Ann's dresses were all wet. Ann decided to go upstairs and change clothes and Paddy should come with her, to clean his t- shirt. So they went upstairs. "You can go into the bathroom, while I'm changing, okay?" Ann said. "Yeah, go ahead" Paddy answered. Paddy finished cleaning and went back to the sitting room. A little later, Ann came out of her room and sat down near Paddy on the couch. "I don't want to go back!", Ann said, "I've danced too long and my feet are hurting." "Mine either!", Paddy said, "my shirt is all wet, if I don't get it off, I'll catch a cold!" "The heat is on", Ann said, "you can put it on it if you want!" "Oh yes, that'll help." Ann put his shirt on the heat and turned the music on. "Do you want a hot tea?" she asked. "Yes, thank you!" he replied. Ann went to the kitchen, realizing he was in her apartment- almost naked. She threw that thought away and put the tea machine on. "What kind of tea do you want?" she asked him. "Do you have the mango kind from this morning?" he asked. "Yes!" she answered. Suddenly she felt like somebody's stepping into the kitchen- but she didn't turn. But then she felt that somebody touching her hip and softly turning her around. She knew what would happen... Paddy smiled at her with the cutest smile he ever had and she closed her eyes like he did, longing for the moment, they.... there was it- she felt like a soft wind touched her lips, so soft as it could hurt her and she felt happy, like she never did before.

In the café, Barby, Joey, Tanja, John, Maite and Adam got bored about dancing and stopped it. They began to worry, where Angelo and Paddy could be. Barby asked Patrick, if he knew something about it and he said: "Well, I think I saw the two of them going upstairs, just take a look- the door is open, but don't steal anything, I know who you are!" he laughed and Barby went upstairs to look for her brothers. She went into the apartment and looked into the sitting room- no Paddy and Angelo. Then she went to the kitchen and she saw Paddy- wearing no shirt- kissing Ann. She cleared her throat: "Hmmm!" Paddy and Ann turned around. As Paddy saw Barby, he blushed and stammered: "Hey Barby- what are you doing here?" "Just telling you, that we're leaving. We were worried about you and Angelo and Patrick told me, you went upstairs." "Oh....I see!" Paddy answered hesitant. "Will I see you tomorrow?" Paddy asked Ann. "Of course", she answered. Paddy grabbed his shirt from the heat and said: "Thank's for the nice evening, maybe we should repeat it?!" "why not!" Ann said, knowing what he meant.
Barby and Paddy didn't speak a word as they went down to the café, cause Paddy was really embarrassed. "Hey bro`!", Joey said, "where have you been?" "Don't ask him!" Barby said blinking at him. "At least we found you- but where in hell is you little brother??" Everybody looked at each other- nobody knew. "Oh, the band is gone?" Paddy asked. "Hey Dear, it's almost 2 o'clock in the morning, everybody is gone!!" Maite said yawning. "Yes, except us!!" Joey moaned. "This guy is making me nuts", John said, "where is that little boy?" Ann noticed, that Lynn was also not there. "Hey, does anyone know where Lynn is? This girl is just 17 and we're responsible for her, she's making me crazy!" "I guess, I know where they are", Patrick said, "I told her, where I have been with my first big love, 'cause she wanted to know!" "And... where aws it?" John asked. "I think, they are at that pier at the beach." he answered. "...with your first "big love"?" Barby said thinking. "Yes, what about it? They are teenagers, what should happen, Lynn is not one of those girls!!" Patrick said. "I didn't mean that, but now we have to find them. Can you take us to that place?" "Of course." Patrick answered. They all jumped into Patrick's van and he drove them to the pier.
As they walked near to a bench, they saw them sitting and holding hands. Angelo had his arm around Lynn. Joey whispered: "We shouldn't go there and interrupt them, one of us should do it- but in a sensitive way!" "I'll take this part as a favor!" Paddy said and went to the "lovebirds". As he arrived, he said: "Well, it's time to go to bed Lino, little boys should be sleeping now!" "What the hell..." Angelo yelled as he saw, it was Paddy. But he just laughed. "WE were worried about you and Patrick told us, that you could be at the pier. Because Lynn had asked him, where to go with her first "big love" !" He pronounced big love, as something ironical. He laughed again. Angelo became so angry, that Paddy had taken him and Lynn in such an embarrassing situation- and he knew, the others were not far away and could see them- that he slapped Paddy in his face and went straight back to the café- by feet. He did not even look at his family who stood gaping. Paddy was so perplexed, that he couldn't say anything, as he went back to the others. They drove to the hotel in silence. Then they all wished each other a good night and the Kellys went into their rooms.

An hour later, Angelo went into the hotel and lay down on his bed. Paddy, who slept in the same room, woke up. "What was that little man, why have you hit me?" he yelled. "Because, you were laughing about me and- about Lynn." Angelo answered almost crying. Paddy was kind of shocked "Hey man, I didn't know that you really like her, I thought it was one of these "holding-hands- affairs" you're always having." "This time is different, Paddy", he said - now crying; "I do like her very much, my head stops thinking, if I see her and I am blushing, if I just think about." "I am sorry, Dear!", Paddy said ashamed and wrapped his arms around him, "please stop crying!" "It's just, I know we're leaving in one week, and cologne is far away, but- I don't want to loose her!" Angelo said. "I know what you mean, I think, I fell in live with her sister." "Kaja!?!?" Angelo asked unbelieving. "No, Ann" Paddy smiled back. "Oh, I see!"- They talked about then till 5 AM.

"Lynn! Wake up!!" It was almost 6 PM, when Kaja tried to wake her. "I am coming...." Lynn said and yawned. "Me and Ann are going to go to the market and then, we'll go to Sarah's, for helping, renovate her apartment." Kaja said to her. "But who is in the café then??" Lynn asked. "Oh, Patrick is there and there's almost nothing to do, though' it's Saturday." "Okay, bye and have fun!" Lynn said. "Yeah, bye!" Kaja left and Lynn dressed herself up. Then she went into the café. "Hey!" ,Patrick said as he saw her, "did you have sweet dreams?" "Ha, ha" Lynn said and stuck her tongue out. Lynn sat down and ate corn-flakes. Just in that moment, the door flew open and Paddy walked in. "Hi Lynn and Patrick!" he said with his little accent. "Hey there!" they both answered. "Has Angelo arrived safely, yesterday?" Lynn a little shy. "Oh, yes, but an hour later than us!" "Oh,... what about the slap in your face?" Lynn looked at her feet. "He apologized." Paddy said trying to be serious. Patrick laughed: "Those little children have no respect!" Lynn gave him a dirty look. But Paddy said: "Well, I agree with you Patrick, but this time it really was my fault." He paused... "I'm sorry Lynn, I didn't want to make fun of you two." "It's okay then", Lynn said, "I am not mad with you!" "Do you want to drink anything?" Patrick asked him. "What about a coffee!", Paddy answered, "I haven't slept very long and I've to wake up!" "I see!" Patrick laughed. Lynn brought his coffee to the table. "Here you are" she said. "Thanks! Is Ann still asleep?" he asked. "No, she went to the market with Kaja and after that, they want to help a friend renovate her apartment." "Oh, what a pity!" Paddy said drinking his coffee. "Why have you come here alone?" Lynn asked a little upset. "Oh, we had to work from 8 AM today and the others are still working, but Angelo was so tired. He got up at 5 PM and looked, like he was still sleeping. Maybe he'll come later!" Paddy told her. Lynn smiled at him and Patrick went upstairs.
Suddenly it started to rain very heavy and it was very windy outside. "Shit", Lynn said, "that's one of these storms, we're always have here, they're going as soon, as they come." Lynn closed the door and turned the sign, saying "closed" around. "Come and see!" Lynn said to Paddy. He went to the window and his eyes got bigger an bigger. He saw big pieces of trees and sunshades rolling down the streets. "Wow, what happens, if someone is out there?" Paddy asked. "If you are out in the streets, you are allowed to ring at any door you want to, and they have to let you in! And everybody has to know what to do as first aid." "How long does it last?" Paddy wanted to know. "It can be 10 minutes to many hours!", Lynn answered, "The longest one we ever had lasted almost 12 hours." "Oh, I see." They went upstairs and watched TV till 11 PM. "The storm is still there", Lynn said, "I'll call Sarah, to see if Kaja and Ann are okay."
Lynn came back from the phone and said: "They're fine. They're going to sleep at Sarah's. Ann told me not to let you go to the hotel. That would be too dangerous." "What shall I do then?" Paddy asked. "You can sleep in Ann's room. She doesn't mind. Patrick is sleeping in kaja's then." "Okay!" Paddy said. "Do you want to take a shower?", Lynn asked, "I know, it sound weird, but I always shower in the evening." "Me either!", Paddy smiled, if it's okay with you!" "Yeah, go ahead. I'll give you the towels." "Thank's!" Paddy said. Lynn went to bed , but suddenly she had to pee. 10 minutes later, she didn't hear the shower anymore. She waited some time and then she ran into the bathroom. But- There stood Paddy- just a towel around his head. She blushed and whispered: "Sorry!" She turned around, slammed the door and run back to her room. Later, she went to Ann's room and knocked at the door. "Yeah?" She heard Paddy's voice from inside. She went into the dark room and stammered: "I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't know you were still there... and I... I... had to pee!" Paddy giggled: "It's okay, I should have locked the door!" "But I..." Lynn couldn't go on, because the phone rang. "Excuse me!" she said and left. She answered the phone: "Lynn Carpenter, do you know what time it is!?" She waited "Oh John, I didn't expect ..." she stopped... "Yes, Paddy is here, we thought, it would be better, if he slept over that night" she stopped again... "no..." silence... "NO!!" she screamed and fell down on the floor. She started to cry. Paddy jumped out of the bed and ran to Lynn. Her body was shivering and tears rolled over her face. "What's up?" Paddy whispered. "Yes!", Lynn said to John, "we're ready! Bye." Lynn let the phone sink and starred on the floor. Paddy kneeled behind her and softly turned shook her shoulders. "Hey, dear!?" he said, but she didn't react. Paddy started to shake her harder. Lynn turned around "John comes!" she said. "Why?" Paddy asked. "Angelo!" Lynn said crying . "What about him?" Paddy asked nervous. "He's gone!" Lynn cried "What??!!" Paddy shouted. "He left the hotel, to think about anything and then he wanted to come to the café." Lynn stopped. "Go on!" Paddy said very confused now. "He is.... out in the storm!" Lynn cried again. Paddy sat shocked. "We have to find him!" he said. They both dressed up and then John rang at the door. They all ran to the van and John started the engine.
He was a nervous wrack. Nobody said anything. Everytime, they saw a piece of paper or things like that, Paddy shouted: "There he is!" but he wasn't. Two hours passed. Lynn cried, not loud- in silence the tears ran over her face. Suddenly she remembered. "I know where he could be!" she said. "Where??" Paddy asked almost crying. "Yesterday at the bench, I told him about a bay, I always go to if I have to think about anything." She showed John where to drive and then they stopped. "You stay in here!", John said to Lynn, "it is too dangerous outside." Paddy and John tried to walk down to the bay, they fought against the storm. As they reached the little bay, they found it almost filled with water. They looked for Angelo, but there was nobody. As they wanted to leave, Paddy saw one of Angelo's shoes. "Johnny!" he shouted. They both ran to the place, where the shoe was- as good as they could. Behind a big stone, they saw Angelo laying on the sand. "Oh god!" Paddy screamed. His forehead bled and his face was white. His eyes were closed and he looked like he was dead. Paddy hold his brother in his arms and John helped him to carry him to the van. Paddy cried and the rain hit them on their faces and the wind hurt them, but they didn't mind. Finally they reached the van and opened the door, to put Angelo on the back- bench. As Lynn saw him, she was shocked. "Is he...?" Paddy whispered. Lynn touched Angelo's neck and searched for his pulse. "No, he's alive!" Lynn whispered back. Without thinking, she started mouth to mouth breathing and heart massage. Almost a minute passed- till he coughed. Lynn helped him to sit up and all the water, he had breathed in, came out. He was so weak, that he fell back on the seat. "Do you have a clean tissue?" Lynn asked John. "Here you are!" John said and Lynn pressed it on Angelo's wound. Paddy also wanted to help and took Angelo's hand to calm him down, because he was crying. "Ahhh!" Angelo screamed in pain as Paddy touched his hand. Paddy pulled his hand away from his, but he was still screaming. "John, you have to bring us to the hospital!" Lynn said quiet. John jumped in the drivers seat and they drove off.
As they arrived at the hospital, Paddy left the van and ran into the lobby. "Help!! My brother!! He's hurt!" he shouted and a doctor rushed to him. "Where is your brother?" he asked. "In the white van out there." Paddy answered. The doctor ran to the van and two men with a stretcher followed him. They put Angelo on a stretcher and brought him to the intensive care unit. John and Lynn followed, but they had to wait outside. "We should call the others." Paddy said. "Okay, do you want to do it?" John asked. "Yes!" Paddy went to the phone.
Suddenly John noticed, that Lynn was crying. "Hey, don't cry, I know he's okay!" he laid his arm on her shoulder, trying to calm her down.
"Hello! This is Paddy".... "Yes, he was at a little bay!".... "Now, we're in the hospital, because he is hurt."... "I'm sure he's okay ,Trish!"... "Yes, bye!"
10 minutes later, the whole family walked into the hospital. As Kathy saw Paddy, John and Lynn, she ran to them. "How is he?" she asked nervously. "We don't know", John said, "but I am sure he is okay!" Everybody walked around in the lobby.
An hour later, the door of the intensive care unit flew open and the doctor came out. John rushed to him. "How is he?" he asked him. "Well, his situation is critical. He hadn't breathed for a long time and he lost much blood. He needs sleep now, before tomorrow, I can't say anything, but if he makes the night, he's very strong. I'm sorry, we did anything we could... who of you did first aid?" he asked. "Me!" Lynn whispered. "Good job girl, without you, he would be dead now." he said to Lynn. Then he went on: "There is no need for everybody of you to stay the night here, but for two of you, I have room. You can't see him anyway, that would be too demanding for him." Paddy's face lost its color and he fell onto the seat in the lobby. "Who wants to stay?" Joey asked. "Me!" Paddy whispered. "Me too!" Patricia said. "Okay Lynn, we'll take you with us to the hotel and tomorrow we'll come back okay?" Lynn nodded absent. They left and Paddy and Patricia followed the doctor to an empty room where they laid down on the beds. They both fell immediately.
At night Patricia woke up as she heard Paddy crying. She sat down on his bed and stroke his head. "Hey dear, stop crying, he'll be okay tomorrow." Patricia said. "It was my fault!", Paddy said, "if I only had found him earlier!" "No Paddy, it was no ones fault, you can't blame yourself for that!" she wrapped her arms around the crying Paddy, till he fell into sleep again.
At 8 AM next morning, the doc came in. "Mr. and Mrs. Kelly?" he asked. "Yes!" they both were immediately woken up. "We had to reanimate your brother 20 minutes ago. Bit he's very strong and i think, he'll go over it, but that's no guarantee!" Paddy and Patricia were shocked, they didn't realized, it was so serious. "Can we see him?" Patricia asked. "Well,.. okay, but just a minute."
They both followed the doctor to another room. They walked in and there was Angelo. He was affiliated to many hoses and a machine beeped near his bed and a transparent liquid dropped into his hand through a hose. Angelo opened his eyes and looked at them very painful. He couldn't speak, 'cause he had a breathing apparatus on his mouth. He had a plaster bandage around his right arm and looked so helpless. Paddy stroked Angelo's hand and Patricia gave him a kiss on his forehead, which was bandaged ,too. "You have to go now!", the doctor said, "he needs sleep!" "I'll stay here!", Paddy whispered to Angelo, "bye. I love you!" he continued. "Bye cuty!" Patricia said and they both left.
"Will he make it?" Patricia asked the doctor. "He is very strong", the doc answered, "he has a good chance , but I can't give you any guarantee. All I know is that he must have a good guardian angel." "What exactly does he have?" Paddy asked. "Well, his right shoulder is squashed and the right forearm is broken. He has a strong concussion and he needs a breathing apparatus, 'cause he has breathed in so much water, that his lungs are weak now." Suddenly Patricia saw Lynn, John, Jimmy and Barby walking into the hospital. She went to them and tlod them what had happen. Barby started to cry. "Is he going to ... to die?" she sobbed. Jimmy took her in his arms. "No dear, you heard what the doc said?? He's strong!" They all waited in the lobby again. At 6 PM, they decided to leave the hospital and Paddy and Patricia should stay once more. That night was quiet, nothing happened.
Next morning, the doctor came at 9 AM to Paddy and Patricia. "Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Kelly!", he said, "if you want to, you can see your brother for a few minutes." Of course they wanted to and so they followed the doctor again. "Why isn't he going to the intensive care unit?" Paddy asked Patricia. She shrugged "I don't know!" The doctor opened a door and they walked in. Angelo laid in the bed and his eyes were open. As he saw the two, he said: "Hey guys!" Paddy and Patricia were surprised "Why don't you have that breathing thing anymore?" Paddy asked. "I told you, that he is strong, his lungs are already so strong, that he is able to breathe by himself again." The doctor answered. Angelo smiled at them, but it still looked a little bit hurting. "How do you feel?" Paddy asked him. "I feel great!" Angelo whispered ironical. "Stupid question!" Paddy said. "Please tell me, what had happened", Angelo whispered, "I just remember, that i wanted to leave, 'cause it got so windy." "Nobody knew, where you could be", Paddy answered; "and so John,Lynn and me searched for you. At least we found you at that bay, 'cause Lynn had told us. We put you into the van and Lynn did first aid. Then we brought you to the hospital and that's it!" "Wow", Angelo whispered, "Lynn did first aid?? May you tell her, that I thank her?! And thank you of course, ..... I love ya'!" "Same to you!....I will tell her , just hurry to get well soon!" "You have to go now", the doctor said, "he's not over the hump yet and I don't want to risk anything, he has got to rest!" "Tell Maite, tomorrow I'll go with her to the "Navy Pier" !" Angelo whispered to Paddy. "Dreamer!" Paddy smiled as they left.
The following days were good. Angelo's situation got better and better. For Lynn and Ann the things which happened were "good", 'cause that meant that the Kellys would stay longer. After one week the whole Kelly Family and Lynn and Ann went to the hospital. The doctor said that Angelo was strong enough to leave his bed for the first time. Id had turned out, that hehad a pulled knee muscle so they had to figure out, if he he could walk already. Angelo lay on his bed when they all walked into the room . They wished him a "Good morning!" and the doctor said "Well, then Mr.Kelly let's see how strong you are right now!" He helped him to sit on the edge of the bed. Then he helped him to stay. Angelo smiled "I feel like a baby learning to walk!" Everybody laughed. But then the doc pulled his arm away from Angelo's and wanted him to stay by himself. Angelo screamed and fell down on the floor. Joey helped him back on his feet. "Are you okay?" he asked worried. "Yes, I am sorry. I felt dizzy and I couldn't see." Angelo said. "It's okay", the doctor said, "But you have to try again!" He gave Angelo crutches so he could stand. "Okay man let's walk!" The doctor said. "But I feel dizzy!" Angelo said to him. "That are nfaintnesses, that's normal, you have to practise and then you won't feel dizzy anymore:" The doctor replied. "But for today it's enough stress to you." he continued.
The next evening as the Kellys came to the hospital again, they saw Angelo coming out of the cafeteria- by feet. "Hey man, are you okay?" Paddy asked. "Hello guys, yes I feel wel!" Angelo answered. "Tomorrow I can go home and leave this boring place." He laughed. But as he saw Lynn he became serious again. "When do we have to leave to Germany then?" he asked John. "I'll see what I can do. We'll take the next plane 'cause our tour has already started and we cannot miss more concerts!" John said. "May I speak to you for a minute?" Angelo asked Paddy. "Of course" he replied and sat down at a table in the cafeteria. "What's up?" Paddy asked. "What about you and Ann?" Angelo asked back. "What should be?" he answered. "Well, you know we are leaving soon?!" Angelo said. "Yes, and I am sad about leaving Ann, but what shall I do?" Paddy said sad. "Well, I thought 'bout it and.. you know, they have summer vacations right now and they will last for three months?!" Angelo said to him. "Yes, and what else?" Paddy asked. "I called father and he said , we need help in the kitchen and when we do our concerts, there is nobody looking after Sean...!" Angelo said . "You mean... Lynn and Ann...!?" Angelo smiled "Yes, father wanted to call Kaja to ask if it's okay with her." Paddy smiled ,too. "Hey brother, for being 18 and having a concussion, your brain works very well!" he said. They walked back to the others, havind a mysterious smile on their face. "What has happened?" John wanted to know. "Nothing!" Angelo and Paddy said. Two days later, the Kelly Family was ready to leave L.A. Everybody was happy about the idea, taking Lynn and Ann with them. John drove them to the airport, where they had to say Goodbye to Kaja and Patrick. "It was nice meeting you!" ,Kaja said to the Kellys, "it was just a pitty not to hear you play at the festival." Patrick said to Lynn and Ann."Well ,girls you have to behave well in germany. I wish you a great time there and a lot of fun!" "I also do" Kaja said wrapping her arms around Lynn and Ann. "Bye" they both said and waved goodbye. Then they had to check in . They handed their luggage to a friendly woman and then they had to wait till boarding time. "I am so nervous", Lynn said to Angelo,"I've never flown with an airplane." "It's boring, it lasts 10 hours and the movie is always boringand the food is horroble!" he said to her. Then they went into the airplane and sat down. Lynn sat near to Angelo and Ann near to Paddy. As the plane took off, Lynn grabbed Angelo's hand- she was a little scared. After 4 hours listening to the radio, Lynn wanted to change seats with Paddy, to talk to Ann. "Hey Ann, how is it going?" she asked her. "Oh, well and what about you?" "I am excited, I can't believe we are flying to Germany." "Me either!" Ann said. Suddenly the sign which said `fasten seat belt` glowed. Lynn went back to her seat and asked Angelo:"Are we landing?" he nodded. After they had landed, they all got their luggage and went out of the airport. There was a bus, waiting for them. Suddenly, there were cameras and people all around them and everybody started to run to the bus. But Angelo couldn't, because of his knee and so he was surrounded by paparazzies and cameras and flashes blinded him. Till a bodyguard noticed it and helped him out. As he went to the bus he fell down on his bed . His hair was in a mess and he was shocked. Paddy went to his bed. "Where have you been?" he asked. "I .. I couldn't run and there were all those crazy people photorgaphing me and..." he started to cry. "Hey what's wrong?" Paddy asked. "My shoulder is hurting, they squashed me!" Angelo answered. Particia gave him some medicine against his pain and then they all slept. Lynn slept on the couch and Ann in Paddys bed- together with him.
Then they arrived in cologne. Sean was the first waken-up. "We're home" he shouted excited. Everybody woke up as the bus stopped. "This is our home!" Paddy said to Ann. "Wow",Ann said,"That's so big!" They all left the bus and went into the castle. Lynn and Ann were fascinated by all the big halls and the long stairs. They stood with open mouths and couldn't believe what they saw. "Let's go to my room."Angelo said to Lynn. They left and the other also did.
"Welcome tomy home!" Angelo said to Lynn as they entered the room. "Nice" Lynn said looking around in the room. "Do you want to sleep in here? Or do you want to stay in the guestroom?" Angelo askedher. "Well",Lynn sadi,"I don't know if it would be correct if we sleep together in one bed!?" "Where is the problem?" Angelo said upset. "You know I am just 17!" Lynn replied. "And??!!" Angelo wanted to know. "You really don't understand?" Lynn asked in disbelief."What?Why?Urg?" Angelo said confused. "I thought you were more sensitive!?" Lynn cried not quiet and left. She ran down the stairs and out into the park. She walked around in the park and suddenly she heard many voices. She went on walking and then she saw a big gate where many girls were with cameras in their hands. She stepped closer to the girls. "Hey", one of them shouted, "Who are you?" "Well, I am lynn!" she said to her. "What are you doing behind the gate?"she wanted to know. "If you don't mind, I am on vacation in Germany." Lynn answered friendly. "You really live in the castle?!" the girl asked. "Yes", Lynn said, "but now I wish I wasn't here!" "How old are you?" the girl asked further. "I am 17!" Lynn answered. "Do you know Angelo then?"the girl had a strange look now. "Yes, of course. I have to know my boyfriend don't you think!" "What!?!?" the girl screamed. "Who do you think you are? You..."she shouted. The girl started to hit Lynn through the gate and she was so shocked by her reaction, that she couldn't move.But there were also other girls, who tried to calm that girl down.
Paddy had heard their loud conversation and went to Angelo's room. Angelo sad mad and also sad on his bed. "What's wrong?",Paddy wanted to know,"I heard you and Lynn having troubles?" "Nothing!" Angelo said fast. But Paddy knew his brother. "What has happened?" he asked again. "Well,... I asked her, if she wanted to sleep in my room or in the guestroom. But she thought, it won't be correct sleeping in one bed. I did not really understand, but she screamed, that she was just17 and that I could be more sensitive to her...!" ,Angelo said, "I have no clue what she meant, I would not rape her, I thought she knew me better." He said to Paddy. "Well, bro'",Paddy said, "I don't know exactly, but have you ever thought about the fact, that she could still be a virgin!?" heput his arm on Angelo's shoulder. "No, never-ever, she's not, she's so mature and we kissed after we met only once!" Angelo said. "Did you ask her?" Pad said. "No, but.." "You see!""; Paddy interrupted him,"It's just a misunderstanding. She was scared, you could want more... you know!" "Yep!" ,Angelo said," I am such an idiot. I was so shure she had..!" "By the way, where is she?" Pad asked. "I don't know", Angelo said;"she left just before you came to me." Suddenly they both noticed the noise, which was outside. They heard the fans screaming outside in the park. "They never screamed that hard!" Paddy said. Angelo frightened and looked straight into Paddys eyes. He knew what his brother meant and they immediately stood up and ran through the park to the gate. As they came closer, they saw what had happened. Lynn sat with her face burried in her hands a few meters away from the gate. Her clothe were dirty and tire. Her hand bleeded and she cried. "Lynn!!" Angelo screamed as he saw her. He wrapped his arms around her, trying to make her go to the castle, but it didn't work. So Pad helped her up to her feet. He went back with the crying Lynn. Angelo got tears in his eyes. His anger grew and he lost his self-control. "I hate you! I hate everyone of you!You assholes! I hate you! Why have you done this? Steam off, I don't want to see you anymore!"he screamed very, very loud and let his anger loose. Kathy came to the gate, she shook Angelo on his shoulders. "What's up with you?",she yelled,"why do you insult those people?" he didn't answerand wanted to free himself from Kathy's arms. She gave him a slap in his face and said:"You have to pull yourself together!" Angelo startred to cry and ran to the castle, into his room. He locked the door, leaned against it and glided down. He put his face into his hands and cried even harder. He didn't notice Paddy, Ann and lynn who were in the room, too. Pad kneeled near Angelo and his arms around him. "Calm down dear!"Pad said and stroke his head. Angelo looked up into his face. His eyes were red and he looked despaired. "Hey, your cheek is red, what did you do?" Pad asked. "Kathy hit me!" Angelo said "WHAT!!" Pad shouted "Why?" "Well, I said some things to the fans...!" Angelo said. "I better don't ask what exactly!?" Pad asked "Right!",Angelo said,"what about Lynn?" Angelo asked worried. "She is okay- Ann and her are sleeping now, it was a tough day! I think we better go and leave them!" Pad said.

They left and walked around in the parkin silence and then they climbed up a tree to a tree-house.
"I don't understand them." Angelo said. "Whom?" Paddy asked him. "Well, our so called fans. We are giving them so much and they say that they love us, but if we're happy, they destroy anything. They can't love us if they always hurt us!" Angelo said. "I used to have such big problems with our fans, too!",Paddy said,"I went to defense, if I met any female. But I learned not to let my life be influenced by them. They don't have the right to change me and I am not responsible for their acting. But I think there will always be some girls who are hysterical and who scream and stuff though it has changed a bit. But that's a `stars` life. They think they love you, even if they don't know you personally and they live in their own `world`, 'cause they'll never get the chance to get to know us. They don't know you as a person but just as a star, they don't see you have same feelings ans such like them!" Paddy stopped- he noticed Angelo could no longer hold back his tears. He stroke his cheek. Angelo began to cry. Paddy was kinda'scared, 'cause he cried that hard it seemed he would never stop, though he usually never showed his emotions openly. "It's just...!", Angelo said almost choking on his tears and sighs,"I could understand, if she would break off our relationship as far has we have one! I couldn't be mad with her- look what they have done to her. If she had knew it, she wouldn't have been come with us . But I do like her so much. It feels that hurting, if they act like that." Paddy took his brother in his arms. He knew he was right, but what could he do!? "It was very hard for me getting over the thing with Julia one year ago, I thought this would ahev last forever. But it didn't. If you look at it in anotherway- the fans have split us! I loved her very deep and I was so depressed for more than half a year you know and now it seems like I'm going through the same thing again. I don't want Lynn to suffer the same things as Julia did!" he was quiet. Paddy was surprised"Why did you never talk about it that openly when it happened?" he asked. "I don't know", Angelo said,"I wasn't able to. It was hurting and I didn't want to be a strain on you. And I just wanted to forget in just surpressing it!" Paddy was appaled. "You are not a strain on me-never",he said,"if you have any problem you can come to me at everytime, even at midnight!" "Yes, I know that, but..." Angelo said. "You don't trustme!?" Paddy said quiet. "Well, ...Yes!" Angelo whispered. "But since when?" Paddy said desperate. "It's just normal",Angelo trid to explain," you are 22 and I am 18 that's a big difference and" "But this difference has always been there, not just the last year." "YesPad, but it seems as you move away... specially from me. I don't see you very often, which is caused by your fulltime job named our family and I don't have a deep relation to any other guy, so I learned to fix my problems by myself and if I have the feeling to scream or just to let my anger or sadness loose- I play my drums, not very well then, but very loud!"They both were quiet. Then suddenly the silence was disturbed by a sigh and Paddy cried- he took Angelo in his arms and held him tight, like he never wanted to lose him. "What have I done!? I always wanted to be there foe you and I even don't see you're having problems. If I count how many times you just hit your drums and I always thought Oh Jesus isn't he learning anything- can't he play any rhythm? I am so sorry little man!" Paddy said crying "I would forgive you, if you'd just let me take a brathe." Angelo whispered. Paddy let him lose and he breathed very hard. "What shall I do about Lynn now?" Angelo saked. "What do you mean?" Paddy said "Well, ....the sleeping thing...!" "Oh yeah, just tell her, that you are sorry for not being sensitive enough and give her so much time she needs. Meanwhile she's sleeping in the guestroom!" he said trying to sound serious. "Of course" Angelo replied. They laughed and walked back to the castle.
Ann and Lynn were woken up and they watched TV. Lynn had no pain and she wanted to forget what had happened as fast as she could. As Paddy and Angelo went into the room, Paddy waved to Ann signailing that they should leave. As they had left, Angelo said to Lynn:"I am sorry, I should have warned you 'bout this. I knew it would happen and I am sorryabout being so unsensitive to you. Of course you sleep in the guest room. I just wished I never asked you." "That's okay. I am no longer mad with you. Your fans are really crazy. But as long as I have you, I won't mind!" She smiled and Angelo smiled back. Then they came closer to each other and kissed long and deep.
Ann and Paddy walked down the stairs and wanted to see if dinner was already prepared. But it wasn't. But they met Dan and as he saw his son and friend he smiled "In about two days we're going on tour", he said,"then your jobs will start." Ann looked upset at Paddy. But then Dan said:"I knew you wouldn't like to work, so I see your jobs just as a reason for Kaja and Patrick to let you go. You don't have to work if you don't want to, I didn't expect it either." He smiled looking at the two lovers. Ann and Paddy smiled and kissed each other. They had to tell this lynn and Angelo. "But we can't interrupt them now!" Paddy shouted but Ann had already entered the room. She stood and watched with her mouth open and as Paddy also entered, he also did. There were Lynn and Angelo lying on the bed kissing passionately. As Paddy noticed Angelo beginning to breath deeper and faster, he shouted:"Angelo, behalf yourself and think about earlier!!" They stopped kissing and looked surprised at the two. They both blushed and Angelo stammered:"Hi!Pad...Ann!What's up?" Paddy began to laugh but Ann gave him a dirty look so he stopped. "I...I...we...ehm..?!" Angelo still stammered. "We just wanted to go downstairs for having dinner." Lynn helped him. Lynn rushed out of the roomand Ann followed. As Angelo also wanted to leave, Paddy held him back. "Did I see that or not?!" he asked "Well, depends..." Angelo said "On what?!" ,Paddy said angry,"didn't I tell you about giving her all the time she needs!?" "Yes", Angelo said, "but it just came over me. I would never make her do something she doesn't want to. You should know me better." Angelo said looking deep into Paddys eyes. "Well", Paddy said,"you still have to learn some things. Next time I'll probably won't be there to bring you down on earth...!" "I hope so...!" Angelo said teasingly. But serious he said:"I like her so much, I would never do that." And Paddy trusted in him. Paddy hugged him and they both headed downstairs were the whole family was waiting impatiently to have dinner.
As they entered the room and sat down on their chairs, everybody looked at them. "What have you been doing lately?" Jimmy wanted to know "Well, nothing much!" Pady and Angelo answered at the same time. They both laughed about it. "It seems as you came closer like before!?" John asked "Maybe!" Pad said looking hopefully at Angelo "Yes!" he said smiling at Paddy. Then they started to talk about the day, the tour and the delicious food. After dinner they went to basement to try some new songs for the tour. So they all took their instruments and went down. "Let us sing the new song from Patricia!" Barby said. "Okay, but I didn't notated it." She started to sing and everybody tried to find notes for their instruments. After the second time it sounded very well to Ann and Lynn. "I think we should play it on tour" Paddy said. Everybody agreed and so Joey said: "Let Kathy sing her new song. I've already heard it and although it may sound weird, I think we should try Angelo to sing second lead vocal." Angelo looked up "Me! Why??" I just think it'll give a good sound, that's all!" "Okay we should try it." Kathy said optimistically. Angelo's smile turned into an angry face. He threw his drumsticks in a corner of the room and shouted: "Fuck you! Do it on your own!" and he ran out of the room. Everybody looked at each other. "What was that?" Jimmy asked. Paddy say a word and followed his brother. "I don't know what is wrong." Lynn said "Me, too!" Maite agreed. So they waited for them during they discussed it.

"Wait for me..." Paddy said out of breath while he held Angelo back on his shoulder. He was faster than him so he didn't have to run so far. He turned Angelo around "What's up? Why did you leave?" he asked. Angelo had tears of madness in his eyes and a strange look on his face. "Leave me!" he shouted trying to free himself out of Paddy's- but he couldn't. Pad shook him on his shoulders "Are you crazy? What is wrong with you?" he asked again. Angelo started to cry: "She hit me- 'cause I showed my emotions before... I cannot sing with her if I know she doesn't respect me!" "Angelo, calm down- you can show your emotions whenever you want to- but not in front of our fans. First thing is- that causes rumours, which we have enough of, even if we don't do that and second thing is- it doesn't worth it!" Paddy said. "If she would apologize, but she doesn't!" Angelo replied. "I will go and tell her!" Paddy said. "I want to sing with her, but not today!" Angelo explained. "I see- I will tell the others and then you can come down and no one will ask you, okay!" "Yeah, thanks!" Angelo said. Paddy went down back to basement.
"What had happened?" Joey asked him. "Well guys, earlier the fans found out about Lynn and Angelo and they did some bad things to her. Angelo reacted not very, hm like professionally.. like nobody would have done. But Kathy thought it was not the correct way to reactand-" "and what?" Jimmy interrupted him. "and dealt him a blow! So he's a little angry or even a little more. And so he doesn't want to sing with her today also because she didn't apologized till now. And please do him a favour and don't talk about it 'kay!" Everybody looked at Kathy "What!? Is that true?" John asked. "Yes, it just came over me. I am very sorry about it but what he did was really not right." Kathy said a little ashamed. "Yes, sometimes he reacts very spontaneous." Patricia agreed. Suddenly Angelo walked into the room. Every body looked at him. "I am sorry, for leaving so sudden." He said. Nobody commented. "Please play that new song!" John said to Paddy interrupting the awkward silence. "I already heard it and it's so deep and wonderful." "I don't know- it's so personal, but-I will try it okay!" Paddy said and started to play. "Why did you have to die, when I was only at the age of five, so suddenly you were gone and I was left with answers hard to find. Now I think of you 'cause I'm in hunger for your warmth that noone can replace- and I know that where I go you'll always by my side- I just want to let you know ohh- Mama oh Imiss you sometimes, Mama can you hear me when I cry..." he got tears in his eyes but kept on playing. Everybody then had tears in their eyes and Barby and Angelo who sat near put their arms around each other. As Paddy saw it, he smiled. "Wow, that's deep- are you planning on playing it on tour?" Patricia asked. "I can't say yet. I don't know if I'll be able to." "I understand" Kathy said. They all were so touched, that they decided to go to bed.
Ann went to Padyy "That was really beautiful." She said and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks!" he said and they went into Paddy's room.

"The moon and the stars are so nice and they look different from the American ones." Ann said. Paddy came closer to her and started kissing her neck, ear and lips. Then he put a CD into the player and they looked deep into each others eyes. And both knew what would probably happen. Paddy was too shy and he thought about the look Ann had given before. But suddenly Ann pushed him softly to his bed. His room was in a mess, like always and so they fell over some books which lay on the floor and fell into Paddy's bed. They both laughed and began to kiss again. Their kisses became deeper, longer and more passionate. Paddy began to breathe faster "Are you sure you want this?" he asked her. Instead of an answer she gave him a long kiss.
Angelo went to the guestroom and knocked at the door. "Come in!" he heard Lynn's voice. "Hey sweety!", he said to Lynn, "I just wanted to wish you a pleasant night and sweet dreams." "Same to you!", Lynn said to him,"I hope your dreams are only about me!" she said kidding. She jumped out of her bed and gave him a long kiss. Then he left and as he went to his room he heard strange noises coming out of Paddy's room. He giggled and quickly went to bed.
Four hours later Paddy was still awake . He watched Ann sleeping with the moon shining on her face. But suddenly he heard somebody was also up. He looked at his watch. "Two o'clock in the morning. Who could that be?" he thought and left his room in silence. Then he heard somebody sobbing. He tried to figure out where the voice was coming from and went to Angelo's room. Paddy went to Angelo's bed and sat down on the edge. Angelo was shivering and crying and he had his blanket on his face. "Hey you, what's wrong?" Paddy whispered. But he didn't react. Paddy touched Angelo and stroke his head. Angelo jumped and turned around. "Patrick!!!" He said surprised. He had red eyes and they looked swollen. His pillow was wet from his tears. Paddy took his brother in his arms. "What has happened?" he asked worried. "Nothing" Angelo cried. "Why are you crying then?" Paddy wanted to know. After a silent pause Angelo sobbed "Your song..." he couldn't go on , but Paddy knew what he meant. Angelo had a picture of him and his mum in his hands. Paddy tried to comfort him. "It's not fair I never got the chance to get to knoe her." "I know" Paddy said"but if you want to, I can tell you more about her!" "I just never had the feeling of being loved by a mother!" he cried again. "I am sorry!" "You don't have to!" Angelo sobbed. He looked ashamed into another direction "Ehm, would you... would you stay with me this night!?" he whispered "If you like to" Paddy said surprised. "You don't have to..." Angelo said. "It's no problem for me!" Paddy said. "I just thought you wanted to stay with Ann- `cause I heard that you..." he stopped and blushed. "Oh, ehm... yes.. well..." "Hey you, I am 18 what do you think I am doing with a girlfriend?!" Angelo said to Paddy and now Paddy blushed. "Well then, move a little!" ......."Sweet dreams!" Pad said. "Dito" Angelo said yawning. They immediately fell into sleep.
