- Dear Applicant,
- We give thanks unto God and rejoice with you that you
have been accepted to do the Discipleship
- Training School (DTS ) at Youth With A Mission.
- Please give your address to your relatives and friends
and let them know the exact school dates. If
- any mail arrives after the end of the outreach phase we
can't guarantee that it will be sent onto you.
- We ask that you will also inform your friends and family
that they should not call you on the phone
- during the lecture periods.
- Please note that you are responsible for your medical
fees (accident and sickness) as you have signed
- in the Application Form.
- SCHOOL FEES:
- You are required to make the necessary arrangements to
pay your school fees promptly before the
- start of the school or on your arrival to the base.
- Your fees will cover your accommodation, food, tuition
and your outreach phase.
- We strongly suggest that if you don't have all
your fees, DO NOT COME;
- rather trust God and prepare yourself for the
next school.
- The following items are what you will need to bring along
with you for your own personal use:
- These items can be bought in town.

- There will be 5 - 6 hours of practical work per week, so
please be prepared.
- INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
- It is adviced that you bring either an International Visa
Card, or travellers checks (cheques). It is also
- nessercary to bring along extra cash for your visa
extension processing. (They will only give you a
- maximum of 60 days - so it is also advised not to pay for
more than a month or two when applying
- for your visa). The Electricity in Ghana is 220 volts, so
please be aware of this.
- PRAYER REQUESTS:
- We would also like you to pray for us as a base as we
make preparations for your school. We ask
- that you pray for all the Speakers that we have
contacted, that they will respond to Gods will.
- DIRECTIONS TO THE BASE:
- On arrival in Tema, take a taxi to Community 12, and ask
the taxi driver to take you to
- Youth With A Mission. Ask for the Valco Workers Flats or
Goshen School Complex Hostel.
- There are sign boards pointing to the Base.
