POLICY ON SPECIAL EVENTS

I. Proposed new special events.

1. Profitability

2. Demands on staff time

3. Availability of volunteers

4. Public relations value

5. Fixed costs

6. Conflict with existing events

II. Approved and existing special events.

A. Each event will be critiqued and evaluated by the Finance Committee and Board of Directors of each respective Foundation as soon as possible after completion to determine if repetition of the event is desirable. III. Expected net proceeds of special events.

A. It should be the goal of all Hospital special events that the net profit realized will be 50% or more of the gross proceeds of the event. Return to Table of Contents
