The Big Lebowski

Due to a lack of good movies coming out on video the last couple of weeks, I'm reviewing a movie that is near and dear to my heart.

Hollywood does nothing but spew out "crap", smiles and expects us to watch it with as much enthusiasm as their "fabricated reviewers" did... so in defiance of this system, every time there is a dry spell in video releases i will review one of my top 5 movies of all time... this time it is The Big Lebowski...

ok, be careful, i just smoked my first cig of the day so my head is swimming... Lebowski is about a slacker pacifist named Dude... actually his real name is Jeffrey Lebowski and this gets him into a little trouble... there is another Jeffrey Lebowski out there who is a millionare cripple with a trophy wife who is into porno (not watching it but making it... woohoo) and ends up owing big cash to her producer... so The Dude is mistaken for the millionare, which means he is hunted down by blood thirsty pornographers and german nihilists... oh no!

Bunny, the trophy wife gets kidnapped and The Dude is recruited by the "big lebowski" to help get her back... all the while the dude gets tangled up in a big mess of a mystery involving carpet pissers, pornographers and feminist artists that use the word vagina way too much, all the while not missing a single day of league bowling... what a man...

The Big Lebowski stars jeff bridges, john goodman and steve buscemi... it is written and directed by the coehn brothers... for the uneducated they also did fargo, o brother where art thou? and raising arizona... and just like all those other movies, the dialogue is terrific and fresh, the humor is dry and the movie is outstanding...

for those out there who have never seen this cinematic masterpiece, go out and rent it today... for those that have seen it, watch it again... a wacky movie like this doesn't come around that often... about every 3 or 4 years... whenever the coehn bros put out another one...
