| Our college participated
in an astronomy quiz by the NTU's astronomy society. The quiz was
contested by 8 junior college. A team From PJC, comprising of Jermyn
Chua(00S19), Kevin Ong(00S20), Edward Ng(01S13), Mo Kang Ho(01S17), made
its debut and fought against established team, including those from RJC,
NJC, ACJC, AJC, TJC and VJC.
There were two thrilling rounds. In the preliminary round. Each participant had to complete 40 MCQs. The best four team with the highest score proceeded to the final round. Our team clinched a place in the finals together with teams from RJC, NJC and TJC. Our teams showed determination and fighting spirit to defeat our opponents, including the defending champion, RJC. Unfortunately we were deterred in our quest for glory by TJC, which, by a narrow margin. We had to be contented with the runner-up position. |
