When Link first enters the parallel dimension known as Termina, the Skull Kid, through the power of Majora's Mask, changes Link into a lowly Deku Scrub. Link's transformation is a very painful one. It seems like his psychological state has been altered and so has his physical state. At the end of the first 3 day period, Deku Link is changed back into Link, but Link is free to change back whenever he feels it is necessary.

Deku Link has moves and abilities that are much different than Link's. He can shoot a Deku bubble (once he has gained magic ability), he can use a Deku flower pod to shoot up into the air, and he can play a different instrument also. His normal moves include spinning to defeat enemies and jumping on water. Deku Link cannot swim in water. If he stays on water too long he will drown. When Deku Link uses a flower pod to shoot up into the air, he can use Deku Nuts as bombs to drop on his enemies. The following are screen shots and pictures of Deku Link in Majora's Mask.
