	Mischievous beings of the Sahara that plague travelers and their beasts. Among the tricks that the Ahl Al-trab perform upon their victims are drinking up a pool of water before travelers can reach them and whipping sand into their eyes. These spirits are reported to live just below the surface and are documented in Arabic folklore.
