	Half-bird and half-human spirits of the Philippines that made their homes in forests but were also reputed to inhabit halls of gold. They sleep hanging upside-down because their fingers are on their feet and their toes on their hands. Though mischievous, they are generally friendly towards humans and have been the caring foster parents of many heroes.
