Bird found in numerous places, including Malaysia and Egypt, that was about the size of a goose and known for its great beauty and sweet voice. It sustains itself on the morning dew and, if captured, will moan pitifully. It has brilliant feathers, but lacks wings and feet, suspending itself from tree branches by way of its wire-like tail feahters. It drops its eggs from the air, and upon crashing onto the ground, a fully-fledged bird emerges.
