	Malevolent spirits of English folklore that live in darkness, making their homes in cupboards, under beds, and in closets. They appear as amorphous puffs of dust, perhaps having the ability of shape-shifting. They cause all sorts of mischief at night and have even been known to steal souls, but they are harmless during daylight hours. They also hover around a person's back, creating an aura of uneasiness, and are known to eavesdrop on conversations.
