	"Mysterious creature." In Central African folklore, a one-sided creature that would challenge passers-by in combat. If the challenged won, the Chiruwi would beg for mercy and reward the victor with great knowledge of medicine, thus making him a successful medicine man. However, if the Chiruwi won, it would kill the person.
